- Good for Sex (and for Listening to)

First of all, this comes with a video featuring a topless Marion lying atop several naked women, as well as Marion in a tight leather outfit with a plunging neckline. Oh, and the video is equipped with a "pause" function. If you're a hetero male and haven't bought this yet, I'm sorry, but I must slap you. Anyway...

"Heads Will Roll" is the single taken off Her album "Here I Am" (also recommended), but it's an alternate take--not better nor worse, just different. The only track here that will be familiar to purchasers of Her album is "13 Days," a beautiful power ballad that is one of my favourite album tracks.

The other songs range from excellent to acceptable. "Spit You Out" (to which Marion's contribution is strictly lyrical), "All I Wanna Do Is You" and "Good 4 Sex" are punk rock numbers that would probably falter if one were to take them too seriously, especially the latter number, which is pure goofiness but sticks in your head.

"Let Me Introduce Myself" is an odd choice to perform acoustically. The chorus is inherently awkward and is not at all improved here (tho I confess this has not been one of my favourite songs of Hers to begin with).

Still, you've got some solid, fun numbers here. And did I mention the low-cut leather outfit and the naked chicks? Just a reminder.

- Doesn't offer anything new

She is getting notorious to becoming famous, selling her body for popularity. Yuck. I don't even finish watching her video clip "Heads Will Roll", I want to puke halfway through

The first album is really great, nearly all the song in it I love (bar the weird At The End Of The Day). But this Extended Play is a total failure, I don't like when she just co-write all the new songs, she have a history of making good song by herself, back from M2M days. Probably too busy promoting herself or something. Most of the song in the EP have catchy tune (Good 4 Sex, new Heads Will Roll) but you'll forget it in a matter of days

My top tip? AVOID, its a waste of your money. Unless you like to see bunch of naked girl lying and a nasty song

- Raven Rocks!

Marion Raven was one-half of the girl-bop band M2M... and made some amazing pop there. Now she's all grown up and out on her own... and still is creating some delectably catchy pop... she's just a little more focused on the strut-factor now. Cover art skin can't beat the attraction of the harmonies on her M2M work as a solo artist... but this is still a fun, rockin' little EP!
