- Kinda Party, Kinda not (Mostly party)

This album is better than I expected. I thought every song would be like the Vengabus, and I was WAAAAAAY off. Of course, the Vengabus is the best song on the CD, but a lot of the others rock too. Boom Boom Boom Boom is a great song that is a REAL dance tune. Up and Down is a great song when you listen to it. It could even be used as a workout song. Ho Ho Vengaboys is incredibly catchy. We're Going To Ibiza is my second favorite song on the CD. I wasn't too fond of To Brazil, but it's what you like. Vengababes From Outer Space is ccol too. The last few songs are boring, but I haven't had the patience to listen to those. The first 5 songs are what will pull you in. You'll love this CD if you like to listen to quick music or LOVE dancing! Get it NOW!!!

- The cheesiest album in the world, and the most fun too

Come on, people. Anyone who releases a CD with songs called "Vengababes from Outer Space" and "Boom Boom Boom Boom" and "Superfly Slick" is obviously not going to change the face of music. Get over it. This album is pure dance delight. From the opening air horn on "We Like to Party" to the Euro-reggae sound of "We're Going to Ibiza" that Ace of Base popularized, and even the Razor-and-Guido-meets-Miami-Sound-Machine "VFOS," "The Party Album!" is definitely a treat to listen to. Buy it for a party, buy it for fun, but buy it.

- An Awesome Dance/Techno Party Album (hence the name)!

THIS ALBUM IS AWESOME! It is, in my opinion, much better than the Vengaboys' second album, "The Platinum Album". "We Like To Party", the song from the Six Flags commercials, is only the beginning of the fun you will have listening to this album. It is also a great way to flash back to 1999. Get this album if you like happy dance music. Also kind of like the Vengaboys, Aqua's "Aquarium" album is great too. Now for a song-by-song run-through:

1. We Like To Party (3:42) A

Hard to hate, easily a classic. Awesome beats, great synth. This is the theme of all happy dance parties. Great way to start the album.

2. Boom Boom Boom (3:22) A-

Not as well-known as "We Like To Party" but has great lyrics. Not as much synth but an awesome song. Too bad it's not in the clubs, because this song could go just as far as its counterpart.

3. Up and Down (3:59) B+

This song is annoying and not as good as the two other singles. Great beats and synth, but just not as memorable. A good listen anyway.

4. Ho Ho Vengaboys (3:41) A

Not a single, but just as good! Great beats, great lyrics. Hard not to like, but it has a bad title. Awesome song, though.

5. To Brazil! (3:07) A-

Great beats, and great Brazilian music. Not much lyrical variety (unless if 'Brazil, la la la' are extremely poetic lyrics) but fun to dance to anyway. GREAT!

6. We're Going To Ibiza! (3:38) A

I like this song and its dance remix. My mom always thought the chorus said "we're going to eat pizza". Awesome song, even if it's more mellow. Another single.

7. Vengababes From Outer Space (3:26) A

Awesome beats and music! This song rocks! One of the only songs where the 'vengaBOYS' get to sing. Not the best lyrics of all time, but the beats are cool, so who cares?

8. Superfly Slick (5:21) A+

LOVE THIS SONG! If the chorus wasn't gross (superfly slick d***) then this song would be ultimate. Awesome beats and music. This song is one of the best on the album.

9. Movin' Around (3:48) A++

More of a trance-type of song, which is awesome. I LOVE TRANCE! I also really like this song, even with the wierd alien singers. Totally anthemic, with the music, which you can just get lost in. The best song on the album. Should be a single, because this is 100% club material!

10. The Vengabeat (4:09) B

This song is the worst song on the album, but that doesn't mean it's terrible. The beats are strange, but addictive. So is the singing. The stuff gets strange when the rumbling music comes in after the first round of "get with it, get down to the vengabeat".

11. You & Me (5:24) A+

The second-best song on the album. Again, you can really get lost in the music. I didn't like the booming "WELCOME!" at 0:40, but the music and beats are just awesome! This album is simply awesome.

12. Paradise (7:07) A-

Freestyle ending! Not the best song on the album, but I like the music. Personally, freestyle isn't my favorite, but on an album like this, it's hard to hate any song. Cool, romantic ending. Oh also, the piano part is just amazing. That you can get lost in.

Overall, this album definitely deserves an A. Again, dance fans will go crazy over this album. It's not as cheesy as Aqua, but its a universe away from hip hop and rap. Just awesome. Buy it.

- Completely Unpretentious and Positively FUN

Okay, I admit it: I got sucked in by that Six Flags commercial too. Glad that I did! There's no deep, dark, hidden messages in songs like 'Boom Boom Boom' and 'We Like to Party' - just happy bouncey beats. If you like techno, dance or Europop you need to add this to your collection.

- You HAVE to love this one...

This Canada import is EVEN better than the American version. The entire album is a brilliant achievement in music overall, with each song providing non~stop enjoyment. The only mistake I can point out on this album is "Overwhelm Yourself" which I find mildly disturbing at the only speaking part in the middle where a voice says "The young...overwhelm themselves...with drugs and other artificial stimulants"...NO! lol!

But that aside, this album is PERFECT for anyone who wants to have a wonderful time and forget about their problems...there are just no words. :)
