- Exquisite new album by Vaya Con Dios

"Comme on est venu", is the new album by the famous Belgian group Vaya Con Dios leaded by the magical vocalist and songwriter Dani Klein. Unlike VCD's earlier albums which have songs in multi language but mostly in English, this new album released in 2009, is consisted by songs in French only. It's a real treat for those who adore listening Madame Klein's singing in French like in the classic "Quand Elle Rit Aux Eclats", or in the brilliant Piaf song called "johnny". The arrangements and musicians are all first class. It's a calmer album mostly and a darker one than VCD's previous album "The Promise", actually it's a bit closer to the project called "Purple Prose" which was Dani Klein's highest artistic achievement IMHO. The sound details, especially for the acoustic instruments, the orchestrations are as masterful as in the VCD's earlier albums, if not better. Highly recommended !

- Strong release.

Excellent release from a strong vocalist and performer. The lady also writes a great song. The material is intense and thoughtful, presenting interesting, sometimes unusual situations. Always engaging.
