- A whole album of perfect pop songs

Not a single bad song, and that's very rare these days. I downloaded it one morning and listened to it non stop all day at work, and I'm still not tired of it.

- Fun album, great new band!

Bought this after randomly hearing one song at a friends house...was not disappointed! They have a 1960's vibe that at the same time sounds quite modern. A great purchase!

- May Not Be What You Expect

I was a huge fan of The Like's first record, so I had incredibly high hopes for this one. That said, this is a really good record, it's just very different from the first. The first had a beautiful hazy quality to it, while this is an homage to or recreation of 60s girl groups.

- Surprise surprise!

...I was wondering when the second Pipettes album would come out! I'm shocked to find out it's out now, only it's by the Like! Totally different from the first album, but I actually prefer its chirpy poppiness...fun stuff! Listen for yourself...

- The Like Goes Retro!

After the departure of bass player Charlotte Froom,I will admit I became nervous. Also upon hearing there old producer Youth was scrapped I became REALLY worried. Luckily my hopes became lifted when I heard that Phantom Planets Alex Greenwald and the AWESOME Mark Ronson was helming the production. It took 5 years of waiting but here it is. It was worth it for die hard fans. If your just discovering the Like for the first time, your in for a treat. They have really grown since there first album"Are You Thinking What I'm Thinking" You have to remember the girls we're still in High School when they we're signed. What Ronson was able to create with Alex "Z" Berg was a retro 60's girl group vibe that rocks! Each song makes you want to get up and dance....reminds me of a cross between the Pipettes and sounds of the early Beatles. Stand out tracks include:"Release Me" "He's Not A Boy" "Fair Game" "In The End" "He's Not A Boy" and "Square One"
