- Truly a classic
This is one of the best Christmas albums I know. It's interesting that the boys were able to put so much into the songs and they were Jehovah's Witnesses at the time (most of them still are). Their version of "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" is truly enjoyable. "Give Love On Christmas Day" never has and never will sound more perfect than it does on this album with Michael's mature voice providing the lead. Of course, no one can forget the most popular cut on the album, "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town." Michael's high and shrill voice makes it the most distinctive version of this song ever. For those that love Christmas music, the Jackson 5, or both, you MUST have this album. It will truly make your holiday a lot more special.

- A Must Buy If You Love Spirit Of Christmas!
I love the whole theme of Christmas; the air seems different, the sounds, the walks around your neighborhood to visit friends and family is more fun. The atmosphere around christmas just rocks and the first thing that goes into my cd player the day after Thanksgiving when the Christmas holiday begins is this disc! It just captures the holiday like I remember, running around the house in footie pj's and looking to see if you could catch your parent's wrapping a gift or two. The music is outstanding! The arrangements are built around Michael's voice allowing the notes and soul in his vocals to ring loud and clear and it is most evident in "The Little Drummer Boy". He pours his heart and soul into it as does the rest of the clan. The disc goes from Holiday cheer to social commentary "Someday At Christmas" is such a well crafted and well sung ditty about the state of war on the human psyche, that you will find yourself humming it for days-odd as it may seem! The best track on the disc is "Give Love On Christmas Day" It allows all the funk and flavor of the Motown sound to rattle you until the chorus swells into a grand production that you just can't help but learn the lyrics and sing along! Truly the best Christmas album ever made!

- CLASSIC CHRISTMAS MUSIC FROM THE FIRST FAMILY OF SOUL
i loved the J5 as a kid & i still love this. i just bought it this year because i haven't heard it since i was probably in grade school. like David Allan Grier says, you can't go freestyling the holidays, it's a family affair...well, it doesn't get any more family than the Jacksons. the vibe is there regardless of their family history, so reviewer "willows340" doesn't know what they're talkin' about. enjoy some real holiday soul with the Jacksons!

- Christmas Won't Be The Same Without This CD!
I was born in the 80s so this CD was before my time but my parents always played the Jackson Five's music for me. I was shocked that even though we owned the Temptations Give Love At Christmas (another five star great Christmas album) that we didn't own this one so I bought it last year for the first time. It was only 8 bucks but boy was it EVER worth it. It easily became one of my favorite Christmas CDs and it showcases the Jackson Five at it's absolute best. You can see that yes Michael was the dynamic singer in the group though the others were good Michael just shined on songs like Someday at Christmas and I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus. Everyone also knows their energetic versions of Frost the Snowman and Santa Claus Is Coming To Town and if you've ever heard them then you love em. The energy and beautiful vocals in each song will mesmerize you while filling you with the spirit of the holiday.
I believe you are not celebrating Christmas nor is your Christmas music collection complete until you make the Jacksons apart of it. This is a must have for the holidays.
