I grabbed a copy when I saw that it included New Mexican Rose, a # 36 Billboard Pop Hot 100 for the group in late 1963 on the Vee-Jay label, and not that easy to find in quality sound. Which this is!
If you're a fan of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, one of only a very few American groups to hold their own on the charts throughout the first years of the British Invasion, then you'll find this an ideal CD to keep in the car and throw on during short trips.
There are scores of Four Seasons' compilations available around the world, this being one of the shortest and cheapest. The sound quality is good, there are five or six of the group's big hits, and the lesser-known sides included are not terrible. For an inexpensive taste of what made these Jersey Boys so popular, this is a good purchase.
