The Four Seasons Album: “Oh What a Night”
 Description :
All songs written by Bob Gaudio except "The Book Of Love" (Warren Davis/George Malone/Charles Patrick) and "You And Your Heart So Blue" (Andy Hill/Peter Sinfield).
<p>This compilation revolves around the Four Seasons' disco-era hits. Far from their doo-wop-meets-Motown origins, the group ventured into more dance-oriented material by the mid-'70s, to surprisingly successful results. The title song, which wouldn't sound out of place alongside, say, "The Hustle," is nevertheless a wistful reminiscence of lost early-'60s youth. "Who Loves You," another huge hit from the same era, is similarly disco-oriented, charged by a thumping-yet-atmospheric production.

Customer review - October 31, 1999

- Modern music 4 seasons style
not quite as classic-sounding as the original "December 1963(Oh, what a night)" song, but very catchy. Great re-mix versions of "Silver Star" and "Who Loves You".
- an oldie but a goodie
I loved the Four Seasons and this is a nice CD. It has the newer version of "Oh What A Night" on it.
- disapointed
I bought a CD. Unfortunately all the songs are in Mono, all sound channels through left speaker only. Completely useless cd.
i would send it back, but it is too much work.
