Análisis (en inglés) - :
The title track is a very nice song from {^A Short Album About Love}, but the truly winning numbers here are definitely the B-sides. Starting with this single and spread out over its two siblings are a total of nine tracks from a London show in 1996, with a 35-person ensemble performing both hits, obscurities and new cover versions in front of a wildly enthusiastic crowd. First here is a cover of the old {$Bacharach}/{$David} standard {&"Make It Easy on Yourself"} -- it's a fair effort, though {$Hannon} sounds like he's enjoying it mostly for the Vegas smarm factor, however lovingly delivered. {&"A Drinking Song"} succeeds better, the audience gleefully shouting out key lines along with him as the wobbly, jaunty feeling of the original turns into a total showstopper live. {&"Something for the Weekend,"} as befitting its hit single status, smashes the place apart with a bravura performance from singer and backing musicians alike. ~ Ned Raggett, All Music Guide
