Análisis (en inglés) - :
This is the second disc from the {@Sea of Tunes} bootleg label featuring performances ultimately destined for the legitimate {^Beach Boys Concert!} release. As with the previous volume, the primary source for the concert are the stereo tapes made by {@Capitol Records} on location at the {~Memorial Auditorium} in Sacramento, California on August 1, 1964. This second show is just as high energy as the first. Another holdover from the previous performance is the fact that the boys still can't hear each other over the ensuing mania. This renders a few jarring musical (especially vocal) gaffes. The second half of this disc also has nearly 15 minutes of vocal overdubs done in the studio to help sweeten some of the rougher spots. The overdubbed versions would end up on the {^Beach Boys Concert!} long player. For {$Beach Boys} fans, one could not imagine anything more entrancing than hearing this classic live album reconstructed as it is on this release. The two tracks marked {&"Honda '55"} are a cappella vocal tags for radio commercials for {@Honda} 55 CC motorbikes, which {$the Boys} hocked for a while in the early '60s. It is a rare treat to hear those priceless harmony vocals regardless of what they might be selling. ~ Lindsay Planer, All Music Guide
