There are countless {$Beach Boys} compilations on the market, and everything included here is easily available elsewhere, but what makes {^I Love You} a little bit different is that it truly does focus on the group's love songs rather than the surfing and hot rod material that is found on most {$Beach Boys} comps. {$Brian Wilson} wrote marvelous love songs, full of a fragile, yearning innocence that -- in his case -- turned out to be pretty close to the heart of the matter.
