The fourth album was also {$The Beach Boys}' fourth to be released within one year, so let's not blame them for the repetitions. Moving the group from the beach to the race track, it features the second LP appearances of the title track, {&"Shut Down,"} and "409," as well as a version of "Be True To Your School" that differs from the concurrently released single (which featured {$The Honeys} on cheerleading backup vocals). ~ William Ruhlmann, All Music Guide
