- Absolutely Amazing Album

This is arguably the most successful album of Thalia's career, and it is not without reason. The album is full of hits, is wonderfully produced, has a perfect balance of dance and ballad tracks, and is sung beautifully and skillfully throughout by the amazing Thalia. Some of the highlights are Mujer Latina, Rosas, Echa Pa Lante, Ponle Remedio, Es Tu Amor, and the title track. Mujer Latina is a spellbinding latina-pride anthem, you'll be out on the dancefloor sweating up a storm in seconds. Echa Pa Lante and Ponle Remedio are equally addictive, the latter having a very interesting song structure with Thalia doing a little rap near the beginning. The title track is sexy and steamy, great for a hot summer's day, while Rosas and Es Tu Amor are pure beauty shining in the sunlight; two very powerful ballads that deserve to be heard and loved. Por Amor, Noches Sin Luna, De Donde Soy and Dicen Por Ahi are all excellent too. In fact, all the tracks on this album are standouts; there is no filler on this album at all, that I guarantee. You will not be dissapointed you ordered Amor a La Mexicana. (Watch out for her full-length English-language debut, due out February 2003.)

- I LOVE IT!

As a person who does not speak much Spanish, I love all of Thalia's albums that I've listened to. This one is no exception. It's traditional and modern and that sounds blends together well with the message she is bringing forth. Awesome album, especially the title track.

- Good but predictable

Thalía is one of my fav. latin singers and it's not just because she looks beautiful! This is probably her best album, it's packed with strong but fun hits that are all very friendly to the old ear. The big problem is that it has very little originality: it has elements of just about every other Latin song around! Take for example "Mujer Latina" which is an excellent song, but the tune sounds way too familiar and predictable. This isn't really a major issue but I do feel the album really lacks any originality!

But, Thalia can sing and make a nice loada tunes so don't be put off-it's a good album!

- An Excellent Work of Art!!!

I strongly recommend this ALBUM. This is a Must Buy. Thalia has it all: Beauty, Talent, fame....etc.
