Tom Jones Recruits U2, Sings Springsteen For New AlbumPhoto: Getty Las Vegas staple Tom Jones will release his first U.S. album of new material in 15 years, as 24 Hours hits stores on November 25th. Just as Jones’ 2002 Reload (which did not get a domestic release) featured a plethora of guests, Jones will welcome U2’s Bono and the Edge on one song this time around, as the U2 duo wrote and perform on the new song “Sugar Daddy,” which was written specifically for Jones. Over half of the new material was co-written by Jones himself and produced by Future Cut, who have also produced for Lily Allen, Kate Nash and Estelle. The album will also feature Jones covering Bruce Springsteen’s Devils & Dust cut “The Hitter,” as well as covers of songs by Tommy James & the Shondells, Pumali Panthers and Carla Thomas. “It’s all very well just singing songs, but for this record I really wanted to get properly personal,” Jones says. “I’ve been getting reflective recently, looking over my journey through life, and I wanted to make something that was all about me, my stories, to get that down in song. In other words, you listen to this album and you get the real me.” Related Stories: • Tom Jones Responds to Chest Hair Insurance Rumor • U2 Pen Sixty New Songs, New Album Pushed to 2009 • Bruce Springsteen, Kid Rock Kick Off Harley Davidson Festival

Ohh Shia. Such A Man, You’ve Become…From POP SUGAR -- Apparently, wearing a suit denotes manhood. Shia LeBeouf graces the cover of yet another dude-ish magazine, so he has his clothes on. But the article is entertaining, none the less. Check out the photos and some excerpts, after the jump! Taking a Step into Shia's Arena We're still wondering why Shia's didn't join his fellow Transformers team on stage for their big win at the MTV Movie Awards, but in the meantime we can enjoy the finished product of that photoshoot we saw him working on back in March for Arena magazine. In the issue, Shia tells talks about his childhood, how much he regrets the mistakes he's made in the past year and shows his gracious side. Here are highlights: On why he took up acting: "I thought it could bring me security, it could bring me structure, it could bring me my family. You see, finances ripped my family apart. That's when my dad's addictions went haywire and he lost his shit and had to leave. So, at a very early age, my thinking was, 'If I can fix this sh*t, then it will all be alright.' And in a way it has been." On why Steven Spielberg chose him for Indiana Jones: "If I knew the answer to that I'd be a real a**hole. I don't know. We get along very well. I try not to put up much of a fight... ever. I show up on time every day. I do my job. The rest of it I couldn't tell you. IT's CRAZY to me." On his childhood: "My parents weren't home because they were working. I'd be at the apartment, messing around. Talking to myself in the mirror and acting crazy. That was my upbringing." To see what else Shia had to say about working on Indy and his arrest, just read more

The Jake And Reese Love Train Makes A Stop At Mozza [Hollywood PrivacyWatch]PrivacyWatch celebrity sightings are submitted by our readers, and are posted several times a week, so send them in often--the fate of the universe relies upon it! Submit yours to tips[AT]defamer.com (please put "sighting" or "PrivacyWatch" in the subject line so we don't lose them) and tell everyone about the time you noticed Dennis Rodman manhandling a minor at Koi. In today's episode: Jake Gyllenhaal, Reese Witherspoon, and Jamie Lee Curtis; Michael Douglas and Michelle Rodriguez; Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor; Mark McGrath; Dustin Hoffman; Billy Joel; Romany Malco; Joseph Gordon-Levitt; Dennis Rodman; Zachary Quinto; John Legend; Danny Masterson; Dina Meyer; Louie Anderson; Robert Wisdom; Jocelyn Wildenstein; Jim Jones; and Constantine Maroulis.· March 12th, lunchtime. On my inaugural visit to Mozza on Highland and Melrose, I spotted a gaggle of celebs while stuffing my face with their signature pizza. Up from a table rose lanky Jamie Lee Curtis, wearing all blacks and greys and her signature spunky haircut. As my eyes traveled down to resume pizza-eating, I noticed two of the four sitting at the table that I presume she was sitting at - of all folks, Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon. JG was scruffy and terribly attractive, much more so in person than I expected, and stared at RW adoringly, snapping a few candids of her throughout the lunch with his digital camera. Cute couple. · Michael Douglas inciting a near-riot among the 15 (I counted) paparazzi camped in front of Il Sole on Sat night (3/8). No sign of his 38-year old wife. Michelle Rodriguez was there too but I'm pretty sure we've all stopped caring about her. · Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor dining at Katsuya in Studio City on Friday, 03/07. They were with another couple. 03/07 - Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray at Hotel Figueroa in downtown LA. · 2/9- Billy Joel at the Village Idiot on Melrose... low key in requisite celeb-staple baseball hat squeezed into a booth with ind

SAG Members Cannot Be Stopped By WGA StrikersFrom POP SUGAR -- Actually, one has nothing to do with the other, aside from the fact the WGA writes the scripts the SAG actors read from. Neither here nor there at the moment. Check out these lovely photos of the SAG winners [including Daniel Day-Lewis' homeless-hair], after the jump! Actors Celebrate Each Other at the SAGs Tom Cruise wasn't the only one who skipped the red carpet last night, Fool's Gold costars Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey presented an award and stopped by the press room but didn't do the outside posing. They didn't have awards to show off, of course, but the night's big winners did. Tina Fey looked a little uncomfortable with her mini actor (so missing Alec Baldwin, boo) while Edie Falco proudly showed off her double fisting skills. Gotta show some love for Javier and the rest of the cast of No Country. Buzz wants to know how you feel about all of last night's big TV and movie winners. I'm thinking that at least a few of these (movie) winners should get used to those award-statue curls because I hear those Oscars are pretty heavy. To see more from the press room including McConaughey, Julie Christie, Rainn Wilson, Jenna Fischer, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Lorraine Bracco, Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin, John Krasinski and others just read more Images include: Tina Fey, Daniel Day-Lewis, Julie Christie, Javier Bardem, Rainn Wilson, Kate Hudson, Matthew McConaughey, Steve Carell, Jenna Fischer, James Gandolfini, Edie Falco, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Lorraine Bracco, Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin, Woody Harrelson, John Krasinski Source and Source
