- Humor and energy
Despite the fact that their debut album provides their entire play list, Scissor Sisters manage to deliver a DVD collection that includes a full-length concert, several music videos, a documentary, and much more! This DVD reportedly includes some Easter eggs as well, for those with the patience or equipment to find that sort of thing.
The picture quality during the concert falters at times, but the sound quality is perfect, and that really matters the most in this case. Fans of this theatrical dance band will enjoy seeing how they interpret these already familiar songs on stage. Keep in mind that singer Jake Shears previously worked as a go-go dancer; or just think of Queen's Freddy Mercury with just as much peacock attitude but even more energy! All of the members bring their unique personalities to the show and the music. The ending number goes so far over the top that it seems like the Muppets crashing a live performance of The Rocky Horror Picture Show!
The music videos capture the humor and energy of the band in other ways, allowing them to play with costumes, low-budget special effects, and silly plot lines. The documentary goes a long way in explaining the bizarre antics but immediate magnetism of this hot new band.

- Finally, Scissor Sisters in Concert!
Very highly recommended, the full length concert footage is a must see. The Sisters rock! If you are not lucky enough to have them visit your city on tour, you can experience them live at home. I was very impressed. The extras are great, especially the background information on the band from the members themselves. Again, this comes very highly recommended!

- The Greatest
This is one of the best bands to come along in a long time, especially if you are into bands from the 70s and 80s. Scissor Sisters is a combination of both. They are outrageous to watch and have a great beat to dance to. I don't know where they have been hiding, but I caught them on the Regis & Kelly show and immediately went out and bought their CD. When the DVD was released I rushed to the store and it is one of the best concerts I have purchased in a long time. The group won numerous awards on the Brits Award show this year. England has taken this group to their hearts and I think we should to. Like I wrote if you love the 70s and 80s, purchase the CD and the DVD. I don't think you will be disappointed.

- Brilliant!
This DVD contains live footage of the Scissor Sisters in concert at the United Kingdom's [...] capital, Brighton. It also has the videos of their first few singles, missing only "Filthy Gorgeous". Originally ignored in their home country of the US, the Scissor Sisters were snapped up in the UK, where the British public have really taken them to their hearts, winning many awards at the Brits. The music is terrific, by turn both strident, relaxed, radical, soulful, poppy and very catchy. You definitely get the feeling that this band enjoy making music and performing. Why have the US been slow to catch on? Ask yourself why didn't "Brokeback Mountain" win the Best Picture Oscar, and you will be more than halfway there.

- Style AND Content
This DVD's a great introduction to the band, containing everything from a complete live set, videos, interviews (the Muppets were an early influence?), a recitation of the poem "Jabberwocky," backstories -- and of course, bare-butt footage of Jake onstage in Spain. I've missed them live, but will certainly NOT pass up the opportunity next time 'round. For the Scissorhood, this one's a must have.
The only thing missing is the video for "Filthy/Gorgeous." Oh, well -- There's the enhanced CD IMPORT for that.
