Savage Garden Album: “Truly, Madly, Completely: The Best of Savage Garde”
Description :
Savage Garden: Daniel Jones, Darren Hayes.
Recording information: 1997 - 2005.
Music snobs might look down their noses at Australian duo Savage Garden's prefab approach to commercial pop, but there is no arguing with the group's impressive record sales. Their 1997 self-titled debut spawned two massive international hits, the bouncy, infectious "I Want You" and the sugary electro-ballad "Truly Madly Deeply," pushing the album into multi-platinum status. "I Knew I Loved You," the first single from Savage Garden's sophomore release, also hit Number 1.
Naturally, these songs are included on TRULY MADLY COMPLETELY: THE BEST OF SAVAGE GARDEN, along with "To the Moon and Back" and the chugging identity manifesto "Affirmation." Throughout the set, Savage Garden's marriage of light club beats with breezy, memorable hooks sounds tight and accomplished, and for fans of Top 40 fare it is guaranteed to go down easy.

- An Amazing Band

Boy, do these songs bring back the memories. Darren Hayes' voice is just amazing. How convenient to have all of there hits on one cd. I also love the new track, "So Beautiful." Who can sing like that? His voice is better or at least as good as George Michael's. If you like Savage Garden, try out Darren's solo records, "The Tension and the Spark," and "Spin." I love this band and hopefully the rest of you will remember how much great music they made. Go buy this!!!

Very nice CD..I am new to savage garden and I enjoy their music and style. Very melodic and easy listening...Most of the songs are new and I am unfamiliar to them but still enjoy their music.

- Was a must when itunes did not have it.

This is one of the greatest artists ever and some of their best songs along with some b sides. I somehow bought 2 so and still have one still wrapped after 2 years.

Don't regret it though. Must have savage garden fan.
