Savage Garden Album: “Truly, Madly, Deeply/I'll Bet He Was Cool”

This cd is the platinum re-release of Savage Garden's huge hit Truly Madly Deeply, which was soo successfull that it tdeservs its place in Sony/Columbias Platinum series. I think I don't have to say anything about the quality of the song, it made a new record of staying in the american charts and that was what it deserved.

The song "I'll Be He Was Cool" might sound strange after the first listening because Darren Hayes uses a strange voice and there's only a piano in the background but with a closer look at the lyrics you'll see that Darren sings about what would be if Jesus would come back and if anybody would see him or help him or believe him, so these are very deep, interesting lyrics...

I've seen this talented duo in concert and they were amazing! Between my 30 year old sister and I (Only 15 years of age) we have enough stories about their concert to last a lifetime! Their cd is just a simple reminder of that night! I can't wait until their next album. In the meantime, listen to their first cd~it's amazing!

Savage Garden has done a great job in showing their talent. A new sound in music in a time when everyone is beginning to sound the same. Thank you so much for this! Truly, Madly, Deeply is my favorite (as mnay others) for it became my fiance' and mine song at a very special time in our lives and will be played at our wedding this coming summer. One of the most beautiful amd full of depth love songs out there, no shallowness there! Also this song shows how many people TRULY in love feel, but cannot explain. This is not a puppy love or sweetheart love song....just one meant for those who have reach the uttermost depths of this trueness.

I just want to comment on Truly,Madly,Deeply, this song is the best love song ever, it is a very sweet song and sing by the best singer, Darren Hayes. Darren Hayes have such a beautiful voice. I just love this song so much, I can't get enough of it. Anyone who want to dedicate a love song to their love one should definitely be this song.

"Truly Madly Deeply" is the first song I heard from the duo and it made me start listening to music and become a Savage Garden fan. "TMD" is a great song and Darren's beautiful voice really helps bring the lovely meaning of the song shine through! :-)
