- Choruses to inspire tears of inspiration...

I wasn't going to rate this CD. I mean, what's the use? There are just so many raves about it. I assume these come from the main demographic of fans, kids who are impressed with the general produced image of this collected group. Lemme give you a review from a musical standpoint. I just love this CD. Like I've said before, pop music production usually has all stops pulled out. Now, besides the fact that this group is comprised of kids who happen to be the best dancers, singers and star on their own gorgeous TV show, the music itself is probably the red-eyed, stay-up-all-night, crumpled-up-paper-everywhere, rewritten-until-it's-perfect music. When I pop this CD into my computer and see the name(s) of the individuals who wrote these songs alongside their piece of art, the name itself lends some sort of face to a very illustrious mind. These songs are not only typically catchy pop songs, but the melodies remind you of an ending soundtrack about some sort of triumph. Couple that with the fact that this group extends on the fire left behind by an immensely popular European pop group, and tries to imitate them. I don't think RBD imitates anyone, though, in the end. This is original stuff. The choruses, where the whole group sings together, along with the most well-written, bright pop songs that I've ever heard is just powerful! I guess the triumph is in demonstrating that creativity can be so powerful that it appeals to millions of individuals all at once. I mean, listening to some of these songs I keep thinking this exact thought, "If I were to write a song with all my heart, this is EXACTLY what it would sound like." "Aun Hay Algo" is my favorite. This is exactly what it would sound like.

- Good CD

I am a big fan of the telenovela and the music group and I have to say that although they may not be the best singers in the world the music is pretty good. I believe `Nuestro amor' is better than their first CD `Rebelde'. They have really grown musically.

Nuestro amor- First single off the record. It's a good song. I like the fact that it starts slow and then it gets better. The chorus is pretty simple. The only thing bad about the song is that they repeat the chorus too much. At some point you will get annoyed with the "y es asi asi es..." but still I like the song. 4/5

Me voy- It's a very hard song. The lyrics talk about disillusion and the pain a girl goes through and how she will get through the bad days and will forget about him. The girls voices in this song are pretty good but the original song sang by Kelly Clarkson (Gone) its better. 3/5

Feliz Cumpleaños- I have to say that the first time I heard this song I didn't like it but after a while you get to like it. It's a rock song and Cristian and Anahi sing nicely together. The lyrics of the song are so so... I believe that it would have been better with ought the `feliz cumpleaños' thing. I just think it's weird and out of place. I like the chorus it's good. 4/5

Este corazón- For me, the best song of the album. It's a ballad that you can hear many times and you don't get tired. Great chorus. I love the fact that the couples of the telenovela sing it. It makes the song more real because you believe they are really passing through that situation. 5/5

Así soy yo- Well...this song its weird and has crazy lyrics but you have to understand that it is a song made for "mia collucci" to sing. It's a funny song. 3/5

Aun hay algo- Definitely one of the best songs of the album and also the second single. I like that everybody sings in this song. The chorus is great. There is a part where Dulce Maria sings beautifully. 5/5

A tu lado- Has pretty lyrics and it is a romantic song. The guys sing it well but I just think it is to slow. It's the kind of song you can get asleep listening to. In my opinion, the worst song of the album. 2/5

Fuera- Hard, rock song. The girls sing it pretty well. I like it but don't love it. 3/5

Qué fue del amor- Great song. Cristian, Alfonso, Maite and Dulce sing it perfectly. It's the kind of song you can't get out of your mind. 5/5

Que hay detrás- The lyrics of this song are one of the best's in the album. I like the song. 4/5

Tras de mi- Great song. The lyrics are different but good. They all sing well the chorus. It is a song that talk about leaving everything and being free. 5/5

Solo para ti- I believe the good thing about this song is the chorus. The only thing that it's a little bit annoying is the fact that the keep using the "así" word that is used in Nuestro amor and Así soy yo. Still I believe is a really good song. 4/5

Una canción- Beutifull ballad. Cristian(the best male voice in the group) sings it perfectly. Great lyrics. 5/5

Liso. Sensual- The lyrics are different. They all sing this song and that makes it good to listen to. 4/5

Nuestro amor it is a really good cd and I recommend it.

- the best yet!!!

WoW i cant stress enough how amazing this new rbd cd is!!! It has completely taken over in mexico earning a platinum status on the first day it came out on sale, really impressive. The songs are really fresh and catchy with a nice blend of rock and pop. I have not seen the tv show that launched this group but it really didnt matter because their music stands out on their own. i specially love Anahi (amazing singer and actress). i dont know what else to say that would render any justice to this great cd, so just buy it and judge it yourself. YOU WONT REGRET IT!!!

- Better than the first!!!!!!

This CD is better than the first. All of the songs are excellent with catchy beats. Maite, Poncho, and Christopher sing more on this CD. This CD has more bass and is very clear than the other and some of them have extremely improved their voice. They sing with so much power and energy. It is very noticeable once you put the first song. They also say some words in English like "Happy Birthday" and "Bye Bye". There is a video too so, yes of course the CD is enhanced. After you have heard the CD you will want more of them. Don't worry RBD has a DVD out in Mexico and will come here in November 8th 2005 and I also heard that they were coming to the U.S. pretty soon to do full concerts not just promotion. Meanwhile just enjoy the Soap Opera and their CD's.
