- This was supposed to p*ss Warner Bros off?!?!
I can sort of see why the Come CD would maybe make them mad, but not this one. Well, maybe singing about ejaculating all over the floor and the last track, "Had U," would do it, but I don't know. If you ask me, I think Chaos and Disorder is another one of his masterpieces and Warner Bros should be thankful that Prince is so damn talented. This CD is almost as good as the Gold Experience!
I guess why some people don't like Chaos and Disorder too well, is because it's more rock than funk. This is probably the hardest rocking CD he's ever done! Just because it's lacking the funk doesn't mean that this sucks. Every song on here is actually really good, and there isn't any filler at all. I'm really glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews on here, and went ahead and bought this. "Chaos and Disorder," "Dinner With Delores," "I Rock, Therefore I Am," and "Into The Light," are some of his best songs!

- Underground Classic !!!
The most underrated Funk and Roll album no one ever heard. This cd made me turn off my radio for good ( Repeated hits don't get my juices flowing). Dinner With Delores, Title track, I Will( featuring bakground vocals by Rosie Gaines) were killer tracks that were slept on by the radio. Get this one before it's out of print.

- He Rocks, Therefore He Is!
This is the first album Prince has ever done that has been this electric guitar heavy. If you lean more towards the rock side of Prince, this is the album for you. Ironically, this album was one of the albums put out under his symbol moniker to honour his unfair contract with Warner Bros. Yet it is ever so profound as he talks about his contentions with the music business and its disservice to the artist as hinted in "Chaos and Disorder", "I Rock Therefore I Am" and "Dig U Better Dead".
Keep rockin.

- Highly Overlooked
I think people who trash this cd didn't really listen 2 it. With songs like "I rock there4 I am""Dig U better Dead""Same December"and "I like it there" It is easily one of his most underated cd's. His guitar is amazing all thru out. GIVE THE MAN HIS PROPS and forget the fact that it was intended as a "throw away" album. Prince's trash is far better then most artists hits and any real music lover knows it. The only good thing about this cd being overlooked and underated is that 4 those who don't already own it U should be able 2 buy it at a discount. Lucky U!!!!!!!!
Keep on keepin on Purple Hippies

- Prince Renounces Glitter for Raw Expression!
I'd Buy it again. Overlooked as a throwaway album, Chaos and Disorder is infact a jem. The guitar solos are scorching and loud. This isn't the Prince your Mama likes_ no, the artist didn't come to deliver his usual mysterious sexuality, or smooth balladry_ his message is aptly titled. I think the problem most fans suffer in trying to enjoy this CD is that they were expecting something commercial, or some smooth glitzy tracks that Prince is very capable of_ that is obviously not the aim of this CD. This is released at a turbulent time in Prince's relationship with Warner, and leave it to Prince to deliver an artistic responce. HIGHLIGHTS FOR ME:
Title Track_ clever lyrics and rip roaring introduction
I like it There_ Roguish, Funny, and LOUD!
Dinner with Dolores_ rocks in an introspective way, as we picture his Dinner with the overindulgent Dolores. Other favorites: Zanalee, I Rock Therefore I am, Dig U Better Dead and lastly, the haunting Had U. Prince is truely the artist.
