if you were around back in 1984 you might not know what you were doing exactly,but you remember the effect of this Prince classic. the cold Linn drum machine, no bass and Prince bringing it vocally and dgging the backwards guitar intro. the classicalesque synth solo near the end. and the B Side 17 days by most artists would be all the 1-2 punch you would need especally today. if doves and 17 days dropped today as ringtones then Prince could bounce on two tracks and collect. these Jams still are on point. I love the Old Prince cuts and always will.
