- big thumbs up for the B-side

There's a few things. One, I think "Bilingual" and the tunes from around that era were some of PSB's worst. Two, sometimes PSB overdo covers: "Always on My Mind," "Go West," etc. Don't be afraid to make original music, Boys. Having said that, this is a good CD single. This is back when they actually had DJs remixing their stuff and not just being lazy and releasing an extended mix. I'm indifferent to "Somewhere," but I love its last 45 seconds: chillout bliss! "The View from Your Balcony" is simply amazing. It's a strong B-side like "Do I Have To?" If you've ever looked out the window of your lover's apartment after making some sweet business, then you'll relate to this song immensely. Two big snaps for that song! The remixes of "Step Aside" and "Somewhere" are darker. But they are great for beat-loving househeads. In the middle of the "Somewhere" mix, a voice says, "When the riots stopped, the drugs started." I doubt the Pet Shop Boys would know this, but that comes from the early 1990s film "Menace II Society." I own a lot of PSB CD singles and I must admit that this one is one of the stronger ones.
