I wont go into great detail about this album except to say that if you like Paul Young, this album is as good as anything he has ever done. May not have the Top Forty style hits of his earlier years, but the songs and musicianship are fantastic. His voice and the emotion he puts into his singing are great as ever. I thought this album was originally titled East meets West, not sure. The only song that seems a bit out of place is the classic song "It was a very good year", but what a version with swirling guitar and keyboards and tempo change. One of my favourite albums, and one of his best, you should buy it and be left wondering why it was apparently overlooked and not readily available.
