- Great Pop Album!

I think most people are putting down Paris's album because of who she is, which is unfair since the album itself is really good. Despite being "Paris Hilton" her album doesn't sound half-bad considering what they're playing on the radio right now. The album starts out with a hot dance track titled "Turn It Up". Then there was the *surprise* radio hit "Stars Are Blind" which wasn't really a surprise hit at all because the girl CAN actually sing... it was a *surprise* because most didn't think she could. "I Want You" is another upbeat song. "Jealousy" is in my opinion the best crafted song on the album. That track is definitely worth a listen. "Nothing In This World" is another upbeat song... the only two songs I didn't like was "Fightin' Over Me" featuring Fat Joe and Jadakiss and the remake of Rod Stewart's "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy". If you want a juicy upbeat pop-album then get yourself a copy of Paris Hilton's CD! I hardly doubt you'll be disappointed.

- I never expected Paris Hilton to release such a great album.

Some people gave a bad review to this album just because they hate Paris Hilton. I understand them in some way because Paris Hilton in person is not that easy to get along to but this self titled album proves that she can really be a good artist. She may not have a great voice like Mariah Carey or Christina Aguilera but her songs are fun and they got a really good lyric and YES they make cense.

This is my review for the songs

1. Turn It Up - 4.5/5 The second single. Really good song

2. Fightin' Over Me - 1/5 Worst song in the album. This song makes me understand why people hate her sometimes.

3. Stars Are Blind - 4.5/5 The first single. Great song and nice lyric.

4. I Want You - 5/5 It was rumored to be the fourth single BUT since the album it's not selling that much it is likely that it won't be released.

5. Jealousy - 5/5 One of the best songs in the album. Love the lyric, if you know about Paris Hilton you will know who she is taking about in the song (trust me).

6. Heartbeat - 3/5 Well... this one is like a Britney pop bubblegum wannabe. It's not bad but it's not that good either.

7. Nothing in this world - 5/5 Her third single. Here in Puerto Rico this song was always on the radio. The song is very cool.

8. Screwed - 4.5/5 This song was going to be her first single but a remix was leaked on the internet and the plans were changed.

9. Not Leaving Without You - 4.5/5 It's very fun, makes you want to dance.

10. Turn You On - 4.5/5 Another song that makes me understand why they hate her but still I love it.

11. Do Ya Think I'm Sexy - 2.5/5 Her voice doesn't help her at all in this song. I never listen to this one.

Well in my opinion her debut album is far way better that I expected and I know that a lot of people have realized it. Paris Hilton may not be the best artist around but I hope that she will release new music years to come.

- My First Review - Paris Is Hot

I should say this up front. This is my first review. So I apologize if it doesn't make sense. Anyway, I like Paris and I was anticipating the album. But seeing as I'm pretty picky about music, I wasn't really sure what to expect. Here is my song-by-song review:

Turn It Up - I like this song. It's your basic fun, pop song. 8/10

Fightin' Over Me - This is my least favorite song on the album. I'm not a fan of hip-hop. This isn't my thing. 2/10

Stars Are Blind - This was obviously the first single. I'll admit that it took a few listens for me to like this song. But it did eventually grow on me. 6/10

I Want You - This is definitely the strangest song on the album. On the one hand it's a lot catchier than the others. But at the same time it's annoying because the theme of the song is taken directly from "Grease". I don't mind sampling bits of songs, but I think this song goes too far. Having said that though, it really is catchy. 9/10

Jealousy - This is probably the rockiest song on the album. It also seems to be a "message-song" meant for someone in particular. I like it. 7/10

Heartbeat - To be honest, I can't really remember anything about this song.

Nothing In This World - This is another very poppy song, and I love poppy songs. I also believe it's the upcoming single. 8/10

Screwed - This is a very tongue-in-cheek pop song. It's also very catchy. 8/10

Not Leaving Without You - This is my favorite song on the album. It's very upbeat, dancey and fun. 10/10

Turn You On - Unfortunately this is another song I don't remember.

Do Ya Think I'm Sexy - Considering this is a cover of the Rod Stewart classic, I was skeptical. But Paris did a good job. She left the song pretty much the way it was and added her mark to it. 8/10

Overall I really enjoy this album. As I said, I was a Paris fan before purchasing and I'm an even bigger Paris fan now.

- Should Be Called "The Music Massacre"

Well that certainly wouldd be a good name seeing Paris's intention with this album was to kill music and make it all look like a big joke. And she did a great job of it. There are a lot of no talents in the music scene today and to no surprise alot of them are pop stars. I just simply can't believe this. Do you people have any idea how many talented artists there are out there who would give an arm and a leg to record with producers like Scott Storch? Then Paris Hilton just gets that, that is simply shocking. In fact Paris Hilton is quite possibly the worst singer ever (If you dare call what she does singing). With any luck one day they'll ban all these no talents from recording and all of this will just be a bad memory. Curse you Paris for pulluting the world with your awful lyrics and wasting 5 star production. I hope you go to hell and satan sticks a needle in your eye!!! And for everyone who gave this a good rating, congratulations, you officially hate music!!!

- a great misunderstoon artis

This cd is great, paris is the girl everyone loves to hate, but think for yourself, and listen to this cd, its great, she has a very different voice that is real, not studio twicking cords to give her the edge, and she look great, and it has a great varity of sound from soft rock to pop, to rnb, even a little house teck, every one who gave her a bad review hates it because its Paris,
