*NSYNC formed in 1995 never imagining the support of an avid fan base. In their infancy *NSYNC had come together in Orlando, Florida. A chance meeting with a savvy record personal for a try in a newly forming boy band "Backstreet Boys," Chris Kirkpatrick conceived the idea of having his own four piece vocal group, after losing the Backstreet Boys Card.
Chris managed to find three young singers, a Universal Studio's Performer, Joey Fatone, who he knew from working at the theme park. Kirkpatrick enlisted a young Justin Randal, who he'd met at auditions. The Star Search Mousekeeter. Justin mentioned MMC Pal, J.C.
The four felt they were not complete. After auditions, and one dropout, the boys found Lance Bass through Timberlake's vocal coach.
BMG Germany signed *NSYNC to RCA Records. Their first single,"I Want You Back," debut February 13th, 1997, quickly climbing European airways, and charts. Second single, "Tearrin Up My Heart," followed suit.
1998 marks *NSYNC's U.S. debut, and the beginning of a world wind of success. Though *NSYNC has been met with much criticism labeled as Backstreet Boy Wannabes, unoriginal, and worse yet. *NSYNC carefully took the reigns, and became involved in all aspects of their careers, including leaving their management , for better treatment of affairs.
