- Her sophomore effort better than her first!

I must say that I was a little surprised to hear that Michelle was recording a second cd. Sure, her first album was a critical and commercial success. But, from a musical standpoint, it was kinda weak . . . what with the overabundance of guest artists and the strong emphasis on production, the underlying message (that I got at least) was that Michelle was not vocally capable of holding down a cd on her own. But, as I said of her first effort, she has a soft, sweet voice that works in this format. So, "Heart to Yours" was a nice listen. Well, the success of that first album must have really boosted Michelle's confidence because this second album is superior to the first, which is a rarity for many artists! Only one track features a guest artist (well, two if you count the number performed by Destiny's Child) and Michelle's voice sounds stronger and more confident! Like the first cd, the instrumentation and production is tight. And, of course, the message of these songs is encouraging and uplifting! Overall, I think this is a great cd and I highly recommend it! Bravo Michelle!

- Amazing...but totally underrated.

Michelle is definitely the underrated member of Destinys Child. She doesnt get as much time on the albums as Beyonce or Kelly. Usually shes just back up, or gets a short solo part, which I think its extremely unfair. Michelle has been my favourite, I dont know but something about her just stands out. I didnt get her 1st solo album, I never even heard of it. But then I saw her perform "Do You Know" on The Soul Train Awards, I believe it was, & I was just BLOWN away! I dont even like Gospel music but I love her album a lot. I think she should get more recognition in Destinys Child or stay solo. Shes an amazing perfomer and deserves more praise. Everyone song is great on this album, but the strongest track is "15 Minutes" hands down. Her vocals are amazing, lyrics are amazing, just an all around amazing track. She's really outdone herself, cant wait for her next project.

- That's my girl!!

I love this CD.. I also have the first one.. they both are excellent and I am extremely proud of her... I agree with most of the reviewers in that she did not get hardly enough shine when she was with DC.. now that she has branched off and started doin her own thing it is my personal belief that she will eventually out shine the other 2/3 of DC.. Im looking forward to upcoming projects from Michelle.. she is definitely the truth

- Michelle FANtastic

From the moment she joined the group, I was mostly drawn to her, so I bought her first record, a good one. Then this came out and I was ecstatic. The first time I listened to the CD, I liked it but was mostly drawn to "Love Thang". The second time, I fell in love with it. It is absolutely phenomenal! Every track is great. This CD really shows that Michelle is just as good as Beyonce and Kelly and deserves just as much recognition. I have so much of a hard time naming my favorite track because every time I listen to a song I get wrapped up in it and love it more. The best ones, for me, "Love Thang" for her vocal talents, "Do You Know" for the message and melody, "15 Minutes" for everything, and "The Way of Love" for everything as well. She really shines on this CD. This is a great inspirational album and deserves a lot more critical acclaim, which I haven't heard it receive. What I'm saying is...this is a great CD and deserves more recognition and exposure, for its message and for Michelle's talent.
