- Perfect!

I must admit that I downloaded the single on the Internet as well as many remixes, but I'm still glad that I bought this CD. It contains 9 tracks, many of them unreleased (yet) on the net. Curiously enough, the original album version isn't included. The video might not be the greatest thing, but the single is near perfect and ALL the remixes are excellent. The remixes on this CD are, 1)HQ@ Club Mix 2)Calderone anthem mix 3)Deep dish dot com remix 4)Groove armada club mix 5)The young collective club mix 6)HQ2 Radio mix 7)Calderone radio mix 8)Deep dish dot com radio edit 9)Groove armada 12 mix. Enjoy!

- Music: BUY THIS!!!

I loved the "Music" album. I loved the "Don't Tell Me" and "What It Feels Like For A Girl" singles. And I loved this. The trax on here are AWESOME! The Calderone mix I didn't care for, though. Anyway, here is a review of each track (save the edits):

1 HQ2 Club Mix (8:52): R&B-ish. It's good, but kinda weird at times.

2 Calderone Anthem Mix (11:57): Ugh. This is a somewhat boring mix. Mr Calderone can do better.

3 Deep Dish.com Remix (11:24): Hmm...I can't describe this one (at least not in words). It's LOADS better than the EXTREMELY repetitive DD Dub of Dido's "Thankyou".

4 GA Club Mix (9:31): This is my favorite. It's a lovely little piece of music. The violin/string section interspersed thru-out this mix is GORGEOUS! So is the way they enhanced Madonna's voice w/a vocoder. Also R&B-ish, but more than the HQ2 Club Mix.

5 Young Collective Club Mix (13:16, 13:20 on import singles): Wow! This is long! (my first reaction.) This is probably the second longest Madonna remix ever (The longest is a tie between a 14+ min. extended version of the Calderone Club Mix of "Ray of Light" and a 14:32 promo-only Mike Danavan remix of "Don't Tell Me"). It's nice, but slightly repetitive.

Tracks missing from this maxi:

1. Groove Armada Bonus Beats 4:51

2. GA 7" Mix 3:37

3. The Young Collective Radio Mix 3:45

4. Album Version 3:46

The first, second, and fourth tracks are all available on the Australian enhanced single. The third is only available on the promo.

No edit reviews (as I said before). And now, I end this review by saying:

BUY THIS NOW!!!!!!!!!!! U WONT REGRET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Does anybody know why Madonna's record label misinterprets song times? (i.e. the Groove Armada Club Mix is 9:31, but the track listing says that it is 9:29.) Thanks.

- Ms. Ciccone Does It Again

After getting a sample of her song, and seeing the unedited video on her personal web celebrating the release of her new hit song/album "Music"...I can gladly say that Ms. Ciccone has return to her roots of dance music on this new album.

The title track, which was produced by French dance-guru Mirwais Ahmadazi, is amazing. The beats are endless, and the video, which features Madonna, Debi Mazar, Niki Harris, and British comedian "Ali G," is a major eye trip. Madonna looks good, even if she was three months pregnant with her second child during its' filming. The video which is somewhat of a tribute to the blaxploitation films of the 1970's is classic. The Deep Dish remix of the single sounds wicked, and hopefully it will be included on this single (if it isn't already).

While all the remixes on this maxi-single are great, the best one has to be the "Deep Dish.com" remix which features endless beats that are fueled by heavy bass. I can't get enough of this mix, and regardless of the negative criticism some critics have given this single, Madonna is truly an "original" pioneer when it comes to dance music and style. Lil' Kim even admitted it in a tribute she paid to Madonna in "Notorious" magazine, where she credits Ms. Cicconne in being a role-model in her life and career.

Prepare yourself for Madonna's "Music." It will send you into another world of dance music heavily laden with techno-pop.

Ms. Ciccone never disappoints her fans. Purchase this single and/or the album whenever you can.

- Hey Mr DJ, put my OTHER records on!

I was really pshyched to hear that Madonna was releasing her first single from her upcoming album. However, when I heard the song past the cool entrance, I was almost instantly... bored. This song has no depth, musically, and lyrically. Catchy production, and deep grooves, but the song itself is, well, boring. I recived the Canadian single --- which has 4 mixes: the album version (original) The Groove Armada 2"... Calderone... and Deep Dish .com Radio Edit. The ORIGINAL was the best, and from there on, the song deteriorated. I highly reccomend "Nothing Really Matters" and, from The Next Best Thing, TIME STOOD STILL. Now THOSE are true Madonna songs. I'm just praying her new album is like "Time Stood Still", or even "Ray Of Light"... keeping my fingers crossed!!!!!!

- Music Makes The People Come Together!!!

Music definatetly makes the people comes together. I love all the remixes and I love to boogie woogie and like my acid rock! Buy this one if you have not. The H2Q Club Mix has the most energy to it and it never stops till the end. The H2Q radio mix starts differently but then is the same as the H2Q Club Mix but it is an edited version. The The video is really cute and went to number one! I love the way Madonna looks while being chauverred in a Limo by Ali G. and opening up champagne with her girfriends and going to different night clubs. Too bad Impressive Instant was not released because I happen to have gotten an unofficial copy of 3 remixes and they rock. "Universe is full of Star". Man I dance to that like crazy. I am been fan fan since 1983!! And am so darn proud of it!!
