- Best ballad from the "American Life" album

"Nothing Fails" is one of the best ballads from the "American Life" album along with the "Love Profusion". Very unfortunate that Madonna or her recording labile decided not to release a video for this single. In general, it's very hard to remix ballads for clubs. Most successful ballad remixes ever made by Madonna was the one for "I want you" and "Love don't live here anymore" which never got commercially released. "Nothing Fails" remixes are overall fine. My favorite mix is the Peter Rauhofer's Classic House Mix. Nevins' mixes are of a dub nature and very "noisy". Too sad Madonna withdrew "Love Profusion" mixes from this maxi-single. The maxi is a must for Madonna fans.

Hopefully, Madonna's next album will have more beautiful songs like "Nothing Fails", "Love Profusion", "Don't Tell Me" and she will stop singing like a robot AND WON'T EVER GET CLOSE TO BRITNEY SPEARS BECAUSE IT'S A BIG SHAME FOR HER!

- Madonna Does It Again! Wowsers!

Did you know Madonna is the artist that has the most #1 singles in any one given chart? What chart you may ask? Billboard's Dance/Clubplay chart. Currently having 3 songs at once in that chart is just amazing. It's obvious Madonna is no longer the Queen of pop, but the Queen of dance.

Madonna has a way of picking the BEST DJs to kick her songs up a notch. Peter Rauhofer, Tracy Young, Above and Beyond.

'Nothing Fails' has in my opinion 3 GREAT dance mixes on this maxi, and 2 pretty good, not quite as dance floor friendly mixes.

'Nobody Knows Me' ... Well ... the Above & Beyond mix just BLOWS ME AWAY!!! I LOVE IT! The dancefloor goes wild when that mix comes on!

I do wish the mixes of 'Love Profusion' were included on this maxi, but you can't get everything...it'll just give me something to look forward to I guess.

This maxi-single sits next to Madonna's 'Music' maxi-single as a true classic. This is a winner.

- Rock and Techno are BEST FRIENDS

UNdoubtly This remix is one of the best since What It Feels like for a girl. If you are into the whole dance trance techno music stuff and you love madonna, you better get this single. Nevins Big Rock Room and Nevins Global Dub are outstandingly amazing. Mixing some acoustic and hard sinthesizers nevins remixes differ from any other madonnas remixes. Jackies in Love In the Club Mix, along with Peter Rauhofer's Classic House Mix are very catchy and are the only two that have all the song in its entire lyrical version. The Above & Beyond and Tracy Youngs Underground Mix are some of the best mixes. But the ones I trully recomend (not just because they are my faves) are Both of Nevins Remixes. They are my Dream come true (Rock and Techno are best friends!) the remix to Nobody Knows Me By Peter Rauhofer is The best of the three Nobody Knows me Mixes. In conclusion this Single is WOW. so go get it!!!!!!!!!

- Pure Brilliance

Nothsarva doesn't know what he/she is talking about. "Nothing Fails," by far the strongest single from American Life to date, serves so well to a remix, it's crazy. The five mixes here all bring something different to the song. Although, once again, I was not moved by Rauhofer's repetative mix (just like all his mixes the last few years have been, save Whiteny Houston's "Love that Man" and see below), it gives a classic-house feel to the song that others like. Though Nevin's Radio Mix ruined the song by ripping bare all the emotion of the song because of the guitars he added, his Big Room mix, being more of a dub version, works magnificently. Tracy Young, as always, brings her signature, unique brilliance to her mix and gives it a more mysterious club feel, while the Jackie Mix, the best mix by far, is just mind-blowing in it's twists and turns, strong beats, sound effects and awe-inspring use of the choir.

"Nobody Knows Me," the second-best track on the album, serves SO well to the remixes, and I had been waiting for mixes from the moment I bought the album. Here, Rauhofer finally worked some of the magic we used to know him for and has turned the track into a brilliant extented-play, harder-hitting club mix which stays true to the original. The Above & Beyond Mix turns the track into a trance-lovers dream and gives me tingles every time I hear it. The Mount Sims Mix, in the steps of Daft Punk and Felix da Housecat, turns the track into a retro-80s electro/euro track that brings me back ten years, while staying ahead of the game.

Sorry, but this is, by far, the best single off of American Life. It is such a worthwhile purchase, as every single track is unique, and brings life to two amazing songs. It is just too bad the US single does not include the Passengerz Club Mix of "Love Profusion," which is equally outstanding. As always, although the originals are always brilliant and I love them to death, a good Madonna remix is always better. This time around, these are AMAZING Madonna remixes.

- Just doesn't make sense...

Why did Madonna not release the strongest and most moving track from 'American Life' as her first single? 'Nothing Fails' is one of the best songs I've heard in a long time, and the remixes are brilliant. While it clearly outshines 'Nobody Knows Me' (a decent track - same genre as 'Impressive Instant'), one wonders why the brilliant businesswoman Madonna did not release 'Nothing Fails' as one of the first singles of her album, considering its radio friendly sound, catchy hook, and unique gospel-choir chorus.
