- Excellent Song & Great Mixes To Boot
Alright, let me tell you all a little story:
My best friend, Jill, went and bought the Austin Powers 2 soundtrack when she couldn't find the import single to this. She told me how horrible it was except for Madonna's song. She further proved this by making me a tape with some of the songs (including that God-awful Melanie 'Scary Spice' G song. Now you know how she got THAT nickname).
So I made it my mission to find this single, two copies, actually, one for myself, and one for Jill, I didn't want her to have to see or play that bad CD anymore than she had too.
I left early one day for work, so I could stop by the music store and check things out. I scanned, but no "Beautiful Stranger" import. I decided, I had a few minutes, I'd search through the 'M' section. Well, whattaya know? They had two copies of it! I purchased them both and hurried home to e-mail Jill the good news and to play the new CD.
Of course, the album version is fabulous and awesome. It's pure 60's fun pop, and I don't care if she did supposedly rip someone off, it's a great song, and you can't deny that.
The Calderone Club Mix did take some getting used to. I mean, it was nice, but there was something about it that I didn't like. But eventually, I listened to it more and I really starting grooving on the heavy beats and housey music. It's become one of my favorite Mo remixes.
The Calderone Radio Mix is one that I liked since the first time I heard it. It's fresh, funky, and all around party track waiting to happen. It's pure Maddy, and pure Calderone, a combo that surely can't miss.
So if you're a fan of Madonna...Calderone...or even the Austin Powers 2 songs (or song, if you're only in it for this one, which is understandable), then by all means - don't you dare miss out on this excellent CD. It's sure to liven up any club or party and make everybody dance and sing, whilst getting up to do their thing. *LOL*

- Fantastics Remixes by Victor Calderone
Beautiful Stranger is the theme song from the movie Austin Powers The Spy who shagged me, this singles contains 3 tracks, the first one is the lp version from the soundtrack, that you can only have it there, is not in any other studio Madonna Album.
The real jewels here are the two mixes by Victor Calderone (Calderone Club Mix 10.12 and Calderone Radio Mix 4.03), they made tghe song sound more of a dance one and I bet you that you will not be able to have your feet still, they will dance by themselves, great cd is an import but worth the price.

- good
the lp version is fantastic as you've all heard. the mixes are ok, but am I the only one who thinks Victor Calderone is used WAY to much in Madonna's remixes?! which brings up another point, only 4 official remixes of this song exist (all by Calderone) (Club Mix, Radio Mix, Club Edit, and a Dub...the first 2 are on this CD), there should have been more. anyway, this is good to add to your singles collection

- A spectacular song done one spectacular girl who has talent!
Right when you think Madonna's gonna step down and let some other female artist take her place (like that's ever gonna happen) she makes a splendid comeback! I love the song Beautiful Stranger and think that its another miraculous work of the queen and goddess of music. And unlike some female artists these days, she's got talent!GO MADONNA!!
