- The UK's greatest living singer - just listen!

This collection covers 1964 - 1967, the first part of her career on Decca [US: Parrot] records. It includes 4 UK hits; Shout!, Leave A Little Love, Try To Understand and the original of 'Here Comes The Night', later a hit for Them with Van Morrison.

Also, listen out for the cover of Bobby Lewis' 'Tossin & Turnin', a big tune in the clubs that play Northern Soul. It's hard to believe that such a soulful voice came from a Scottish teenager, but no surprise that her UK chart/TV/film career spans 1964 to the present day and is still going strong.

Get hold of this budget compilation now - you won't be disappointed.

- Selections from Lulu's First Couple of Years

These are the Decca {Parrot for US} recordings Lulu made during her first 2 years of stardum. For a 15 year old, she can really belt and growl with the best rockers out there. If you like early 60's brit rock, you will love this. Some of the material is a bit dated but still fun. Of particular mention is her number "Leave A Little Love". Kind of a preview of what she would do later on during her EMI and Atlantic years.
