Covering a Legend is never easy especially when it's someone as Bad as Barry White but lisa Stansfield did this Song justice.Her voice is solid&the Music fits Her Presentation from start to finish.a really good cover here.
When I first heard "Never, Never Gonna Give You Up," I was immediately drawn not only the melody of the piece, but Lisa Stansfield's incredible vocal abilities. Her voice captures the sensuality and desire of the song very well. I've been a fan of Lisa Stansfield's ever since her debut in the late 90's, and this single made me become and even bigger fan of hers.
Lisa covered Barry White's classic with ease and perfection. You can't get much better than this! Lisa Stansfield is one of the few artists out there who can constantly release incredible music (whether original or covered) that can continue to put you in awe!
I highly recommend this CD!!!
