- Buy the Italian version
I just bought the Italian version of her latest album. While the Spanish version of the title track gets most airplay on the radio, the Italian version of 'Tra Te Il Mare' is best.

- what is this cd about
well, the answer to that question is love. and life. pausini's record tells you many stories about falling in love, losing it and how can you survive in life. when you listen to the record you really start to think what is everything about. i hope everybody could have a canche to listen to the record and feel all these things themselves.

- Music That Transcends Language Barriers
This is my first Laura Pausini album and after hearing it, all I can say is "wow." When I bought this CD, I wasn't really sure what to expect. But after hearing just the first song, "Siamo Noi (We Are)", I was instantly hooked. Every song is a winner, no joke. Laura's powerful voice is haunting, especially in the song, "Musica Sarà (Music Will Be)." It doesn't matter if a listener doesn't understand Italian. Just from listening, you can tell Laura is passionate about all that she sings, which is mostly about love. I highly recommend those who enjoy romantic ballads and soulful voices to pick up this album. You won't regret it.

- Her Best Yet
Just when I thought Laura couldn't do it any better, she manages to do it again, this time with "TRA TE E IL MARE".
This album was a present to me Christmas 2000 and it still remains in rotation with the material I listen to regularly.
Orchestrating a successful album is not only about all songs being good; it's about the placing of the songs and ultimately having the voice to carry each and every one of them. When the album begins, "Siamo Noi" immediately inspires you, as if you are listening to someone speaking directly to your heart. From that point, she takes you through a journey of incredible music, from the heartfelt tune of "Volemo Dirti Che Ti Amo" or the poignant "Tra Te E Il Mare" where her voice let's you know she means what she says. Truly...she is simply amazing !!!!
The joy of listening to every song makes you hope the album doesn't end, yet you hope it end soon to start it all over again.
I don't think I've enjoyed all the songs in her other albums as I do with this one. This album is perhaps the most grown up lyrics that she has ever done, where you don't feel like she is signing about "puppy love" or some past love in one's life but about very real, vivid, inspiring situations.
Way to go Laura...keep up the good work.

- Un'altra risposta non c'è
I expected this album to sound a lot like her previous one, "La mia risposta", but it looks like she's managed to incorporate all her previous albums in "Tra te e il mare". It carries the slow balladry dominant on "Laura Pausini" and "Laura", the English-style production of "Le cose che vivi", and the simple, infectious melodies of "Risposta". The album has some strong moments like the opener, the majestic "Siamo noi", and who can't resist the powerful Biagio Antonacci-penned title track. "Viaggio con te" sounds annoyingly similar to "In assenza di te". "Il mio sbaglio più grande" and "Fidati di me" are other upbeat highlights, but most of the rest (which happen to be the slow songs) are initially weak, such as "Ricordami". I was disappointed by "The Extra Mile" although she's managed to lose her accent a bit; I even thought "Looking for an Angel" was better. It will take time, much time, before the album can grow, even onto this die-hard fan. In the meantime, nothing can still beat "Le cose che vivi". Yet.
