- Ignore the person above. La Roux rocks.
Seriously it irks me when somebody gives a bad review to an album because they didn't carefully read or preview the song.
I discovered La Roux a few days ago and I have to say her music is stunning and nostalgic. Besides the strong vocals her music is vibrant synth-pop that carries many dimensions. I really hope to hear more from this artist, highly recommended if you enjoy reliving the 80s sound like I do.

- It was ok, but I should've bought the album.
This EP is amazing. La Roux is one of my new favorite artists. However after buying the album, I wish I hadn't spent the money on the EP because I got the same tracks, basically.

- "Quicksand" is a great track.
I heard one of La Roux's other songs, "Bulletproof", so I thought this would be good too, and it is. The original version of Quicksand is the best song on here (and I often prefer remixes), while the mix included isn't as good. It's decent, but there's parts where the melody sounds off-beat with the drums. Which sucks, because that's really the only flaw it has, and it's continued throughout the entire song. The mix would be much better if it wasn't for that. Finally, there's a mix of "In For The Kill", which puts an interesting, dark, and moody take on the song. It's interesting to listen to, but it's not as good as the original, in part because for a large chunk of the song there's no backbeat. Her voice just isn't strong enough to pull off the song without one.
I would recommend this EP if you've heard La Roux before and like them, or find it as cheap as I did (99 cents!). However, if you've never heard them before, it might take some time to grow on you.

- "In For The Kill" is not the Original
I bought "In For The Kill" thinking it was the original. It is not.
It is the"In For The Kill (Skream's Let's Get Ravey Remix)."
I'm disappointed.
