- Culmination of Kylie's Fever period
Kylie Minogue has accomplished a lot during the past year and a half. She toured a good pop concert, received generally positive reviews for "Fever", sold millions of copies of it, and broke into the States with her biggest hit "Can't Get You Out Of My Head", the previous hits being the late 80s SAW (Stock, Aitken, Waterman) cheese pop of "Loco-Motion" and "I Should Be So Lucky".
The Hyper Edition is an almost complete culmination of the material from her "Fever" era. Released in Japan, CD 1 contains the original album, plus four b-sides. It's polished, inoffensive, Euro, electro-pop. Although it's slickness can wear thin clocking in at over an hour.
CD 2 is the reason to buy this package. It contains three mixes of "Head", two of "In Your Eyes", two for "Love At First Sight", and the brilliant electroclash take on "Come Into My World", remixed by none other than Fischerspooner. The featured b-sides "Whenever You Feel Like It" and "Tightrope" are some of the best songs to come from this era (even better than some of the album songs).
All four videos for "Head", "Sight", "Eyes", and "Come Into My World" are found on CD 2. Directed by the talents of Johan Renck, Michel Gondry, and Dawn Shadforth, each video is a nice companion to the appropriated song.
Record companies are known for milking fans for their money, and "Fever" has many "editions". This is the best one hands down.

- This is the edition to buy...
I cant thank EMI Japan enough for releasing what has to be the best edition of the 'Fever Special Edition' yet! This edition includes all the classic remixes, b-sides and the original CD. Other than being rather [costly], it remains THE edition to purchase. Get it while supplies last.

- Worth the money!
Well, I already owned a copy of Fever, but I'm a collector of Kylie. I think this was well worth the cost. The rare tracks, "Good Like That, Baby, Whenever You Feel Like It, and Tightrope," are great, and I have no idea why they weren't included on the album, rather than the two tracks that I hate. And tho I'm NOT complaining, I don't understand why "Butterfly" was included, as its from Light Years. The remixes are also a plus, as its nice to get some variety and a new spin on the widely recognized "CGYOOMH." (And its true, the slipcase actually says "ButterFRY," not "ButterFLY.")
- This "Fever" IS The Cure!!!!
If there were ever a question such as "Why is Kylie the Queen of Pop and Dance Music," here is your answer. "Fever" sets the platinum standard for these genres with its flawless combination of Kylie's sultry, smooth and breathtaking vocal flair combined with masterful songwriting collaboration with Cathy Dennis, Rob Davis, Richard Stannard and Julian Gallagher (to name but a few). This set is a deejay's best friend. Kylie has the knack for turning up the heat with stunning results.
Prime examples of Kylie's genius and talent break forward on tracks such as "Fever," "In Your Eyes" and "Dancefloor" (sultry and purely alluring with dance syncopation that gets to your soul). "Love At First Sight" is yet another diamond in this set with its pure EuroDance flair and, as always, smooth polish of Kylie's spunk and verve. What's more, as a perfect pairing, "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" and "Come Into My World" both define the club anthem attitude and sound.
As "Light Years" set the stage for Kylie's continued reign into the 21st century as the pop and dance music queen, "Fever" proves that Kylie retains that title.
"Highlights include "Fragile", "Give It To Me" and "Love Affair"
