- Kim Wilde: HOT HOT HOT!!!
Britney Spears, eat your heart out! Kim Wilde is the hottest '80s chick period. Her music is awesome, and her image is so sexy. Her songs are wonderful: "Kids in America" is a new wave classic, her remake of "You Keep Me Hangin' On" is still dynamic, and there are several other British hits on here that are all great.
She is my favorite female vocalist, and I would kill to meet her. If you want proof that British girls are sexier than Americans look no further than Miss Wilde.

- One of the very best from the New Wave era!
Back in the early 80's when I was in college , I rented "Kids in America" (yep, there were stores around campus that would rent LPs) and copied it to a cassette tape. It became one of my favorite exercise workout tapes.
Now that I'm in my mid-40's, I'm getting back into the exercise habit to combat weight gain. I began searching for my favorite workout musics from the 80's and I was pleased to find KIM WILDE's "The Singles Collection." Except for "Kids in America" and "Chequered Love," I had forgotten or never heard of the other songs on this CD. I had heard of "You Keep Me Hangin' On," "If I Can't Have You," and a few other songs on this CD, but not sung by KIM WILDE.
I've got to admit that I had forgotten that KIM WILE has a great singing voice. With a voice like that, it's a surprise that she hasn't had more success in her singing career (at least in the USA).
This CD is exactly one-hour in length. When I want to put in a good one-hour cardio workout, this is one of my favorites. It gets my heart rate up to constant 140-155 beats per minute and a smile on my face.

- excellent singer with a brilliant voice
Kim is great. All her songs seem to cry over the human errors (or intended errors) and praises faith in love to the hights of human limits, so anyone can appreciate and respect it. I find her songs very inspiring. Great singer!!! Thanks!!!

- Kim is Wild!
Kim Wilde is pop music's biggest secret, at least to Americans. Over the course of two decades, she has become a major pop icon in Europe, but unfortunately, except for "Kids in America" and the dance classic "You keep me hanging on", Kim has not been able to achieve much state-side success. This collection of greatest hits though, is testament to her talent and staying power. Other classic hits include "You Came", "Four letter word" and "Love is Holy". The two new songs are also superb. "If i can't have you" is set to become a dance anthem, while "In my life" simply rocks. Very cool, very hip, and Americans should all buy this album, because they will discover what they have been missing out on all along!

- Flawless but not complete
Kim Wilde has long been my favorite singer & unfortunately she is underrated in the US. This collection is a good start of her most well know songs like Kids in America, You Keep Me Hangin' On, You Came, and If I Can't Have You. If you are a real fan & want more I would suggest her cds Teases and Dares, Close, Love Is, and her new cd single Born to be Wild. If you do like diversity though check Kim out. Her music is pop, dance, new wave, rock, r&b, and a.c. depending on the track & time of her career. This cd does span 13 years of a 22 year career so it is a good portion.
