- Her Best Work
It's criminal that this album is only an import. EVERY song is a gem. Having been a fan since the "Romance Dance" album, I can safely say this is her best work, to date. The songwriting is amazing and Kim's voice is in top form. I just wish someone would take the song "Just To See You Smile" and turn it into a major pop/country hit. - Masterpiece for a new millenium
Kim Carnes is one of the finest songwriters and, if you like her voice, greatest singers of the last 30 years. I wish that she was creating fine albums like this one every year, like she did in the late '70s through mid-'80s. Two tracks are NOT to be missed here: "Where is the Boy?" which I believe is one of the finest tracks in any genre of the last ten years; and "Runaway" which contains the title line, "chasin' wild trains".
Her voice is as perfect (delightfully IMperfect) as ever, she's gorgeous in the beautiful album art, her songwriting is spot on, and again those vocals...
Pick up on this at any cost, and you will not be disappointed!
