- KeKe is VERY promising
This album is actually quite good, especially for having been made when she was only 13. This is coming from someone who is an average fan of music and the hip hop genre. I got this CD from iTunes after being surprisingly hooked on her single "Keep it Movin". Along with that song she has at least 3 other addictive songs and a couple more solid ones on this CD including "Bottoms Up", "Hood Anthem", "The Game Song", and "Footwurkin". KeKe Palmer was a solid actress in Akeelah and the Bee and I think that with some more mature material she could excel even further by continuing in music. However, my only complaint is that her material clashes in maturity. One of her songs on this CD is a rant about video games and the video game 'Madden', another one is about coming from and growing up in the hood. She is only 13 and has never set foot in high school and I think that some of her material is over-mature and some is a little under-mature, though the songs are catchy none-the-less. - One of the Best Underated Albums Ever!
This happens a lot to young singers, who aren't really in the same lime light at Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, and so on.
Like Keke Palmer, her 2007 album, So Uncool, had to be on the the years best albums from a teenager. And the album didn't even chart on the Billboard charts. It sold around 5,000 copies as of today.
The album is really good. My favorite songs would have to be "Bottoms Up," "Rainbow," and "The Game Song."

I bought it for my daughter and she loves it. She got it for her 11th birthday. It's refreshing that there is music out there without vulgarities. - KeKe P at her best

I was shopping at Walmart one day and I came across Keke's new CD. And I was fan of hers since I saw her on a Disney Channel movie. So I purchased her CD and I've been listening to it ever since. All of her songs have a good beat to dance to and I can't stop listening to all of the tracks. I really enjoy her CD and I keep repeating it on my ipod. I really like the songs "Keep It Movin'", "Footwurkin'", "Bottoms Up", "Skin Deep", and "Hood Anthem". Definitely a purchase worth buying. Happy shopping! |
