Disco de Kate Ryan: “Desenchantee/U R My Love [US CD]”

Okay, so it's in French, but that doesn't stop Desenchantee from being one of the most divine sounding songs I've ever heard. Originally by Mylene Farmer in the early '90s this version by Kate Ryan lacks Farmer's dreamy feeling but replaces it with an upbeat trance mood and some wonderful cues remixed in hypnotic euphoria.

Desenchantee (disillusioned) is a great song no doubt and sounds just as amazing coming from Kate Ryan as it did Mylene Farmer. However the other song featured on this CD 'U R My Love' is far more generic and unspectacular, though it does have some brilliant sounding trance cues. Desenchantee gets 3 mixes on this CD while the inferior U R My Love gets 4.

I have been waiting for this domestic release!!! Thank you Robbins Entertainment. Desenchantee is my favorite trance song of the year!!! Even though I don't understand French, Kate singing in French is unique and makes the song even more captivating and special. U R My Love is also a very good vocal trance number, but cannot be even remotely compared to the decatholon-sized european vocal trance wonder of Desenchantee. Everytime I hear it I get goose bumps and I feel as if the music is surrounding me and lifting me off the ground to the heavens above. All mixes on this maxi-single are great, but the mix of choice is Desenchantee (Extended Version). I can never get tired of this song. LOVE IT!!! Big fans of Dj Encore feat. Engelina, Sylver, 4 Strings, Lasgo, Ian Van Dahl, Dee Dee, Milk Inc., Rimini Project, Fragma, Dj Sammy, Da Buzz, Yanou featuring Do, Noemi, Dance Nation, and Escanor will love this.
