Disco de Jon Secada: “Amor”

I cannot believe this cd has not gotten more reviews. This is absolutely a beautiful CD. The lyrics are very romantic, and the entire CD just keeps getting better the more that you listen to it. Definitely a must have for romantic music lovers.

i saw Cristiano Castro on the Latin Grammies a week or so ago. He sang Triste, the wonderful song made popular by the great singer Jose Jose. I ordered the album containing the song and after listening to the album numerous times, I still found myself drawn back to Amor, the great album by Jon Secada. Secada sings so beautifully and with such wonderful control and delivery. This is THE great album of Latin love songs. There's no album so touching and so perfect. Saludos at Castro but Secada owns this genre. It's his alone.

Here's another overlooked and underated joy by one of the most talented singers of our time. JON SECADA'S AMOR is a romantic journey of sound that is really quite gorgeous to the ears; much like JON is to the eyes. His lush multi-textured voice soulfully croons through these thoughtful songs that would be ideal to enjoy for numerous occasions; especially a long intimate evening with someone that you truely love. The songs are beautifully constructed and are hauntingly emotive in the residue of feelings that they will inspire in your listening experience. AMORE'S another fine work from JON SECADA, and due yourself a favor and be blessed by this man's amazing voice.
