- Great Single and Remixes

This single displays Jewel's continued evolution. It contains the meaningful lyrics we have come to expect from her but expressed in a fun and creative way. Way to go Jewel!

- THIS IS INSANE

i cannot believe that the lovely Jewel would ever sound like this, really this verges on the insane. you have got to hear this to believe it and even then you cannot think it is Jewel. it thuds so deep you will have to monitor your bass to save your speakers exploding. it is already massive in clubland, i've heard it all over the place but i don't think that the clubbers really know who it is and what she has done before, but they don't care, it has such a good beat. this is very very deep house and it works surprisingly well with Jewel's voice.

also check out Jewel's album 0304 too. it isn't as heavy as this single but has some fab tracks on it and it is certainly her best album so far.

give give Intuition a go, i bet you won't beleive it neither! you will be dancing your **** off in no time! never thought i would ever say that about Jewel!! it is FAB!!

- GO JEWEL!!!!

This is one of the most-played albums on my iPod, it's so great!!! Here is a tracklisting and review of each:

1. Todd Terry In-House Mix (5:43, 10/10): Cool. Just a little side note: Tee re-uses his beats & bass a LOT. On his remixes of this song, he uses the bass from his remix of LeAnn Rimes' "We Can".

2. Gabriel & Dresden Hi-Tek Digital Mix (10:52, 10/10): This isn't a mix, it's a dub. It's still good, though. The dub sounds almost EXACTLY THE SAME.

3. Markus Schulz Coldharbour Mix (10:23, 9/10, and yes, it is really spelled "coldharbour"): I liked this, but I kept waiting for the vocals. The mix goes almost nowhere. Markus Schulz could've put in some more vocals!

4. Ford's Extended Mix (7:20, 10/10): Now THIS is one of the best remixes ever, no question! Check out his remixes of Natasha Bedingfield's "These Words (I Love You, I Love You)". They are just as good. Ford, you are indeed a trance MASTER!

5. Tee's Freeze Mix (5:42, 10/10): What is with these? almost all the Todd Terry & Gabriel & Dresden remixes sound the same! But, Tee manages to make it sound at least a little different each time, where G&D, for the most part, do not. The beat on this just screams "FASHION SHOW". Cool!

6. Gabriel & Dresden Rhythm Club Mix (8:20, 9/10): KEEP THE BEAT THE SAME ALL THE WAY THROUGH! I really thought this would be a different mix, but I was wrong. The middle of the song changes to the exact same as the other mix and the dub! At least they put more vocals in it this time.

7. Tee's Kat Mix (6:13, 10/10): Love it!!! This a "dub" version of the other 2 TT mixes.

8. G&D's Lo-Tek Analog Dub (10:30, 9/10): This is almost the exact same thing as the Digital Mix, except that the weird computerized Jewel thing starts earlier. Okay, but a little more of a change, please!

----------------------------------------------------------------

TOTAL EVALUATION: 19/20. Gets a point off because of the Gabriel and Dresden remixes, but still a good single. Check this and "Serve the Ego" out! The remixes are KILLER!

- Making her name known on the dancefloor

Jewel is tearing it up and with a bang. This single has all the beats you wanna hear, house, dance, trance, everything. I admit that some of the versions are tedious and didnt take much creativity , but there are others that just blow you away. I always drive with this single pumping and everyone seems to enjoy it. She really is coming out to a new crowd while keeping her image and strong lyrics. Way to go.

- Jewel, a humble dance diva?

Really: can a diva be humble? In Jewels case, yes. You can have spirit and confidence and still be humble. It's a wonderful philosophy that anyone could benefit from, and one that should be embraced. This new song, Intuition, is buzzing across the airwaves and into the dance clubs, with remixes so catchy, so deep, so inspiring that you'd have no idea it's Jewel. Or would you? The music is upbeat, the typical type of trance, techno and house music you'd hear in any club. But the lyrics, well that's a different story. 'Follow your heart, your intuition -- it will lead you in the right direction.' Those are, obviously, Jewel lyrics. Even so, the music and the words flow, creating this kind of hypnotizing mood that takes you on a ride. Every remix has a different style, but they all have one thing in common -- they are all incredible. Think of the 'Serve The Ego' remixes she did not too long ago, and add more flare, style and dramatism. What you have is something not only worth buying, but enjoying. She has collaborated with some of the best producers and mixers on the planet to create a remix single that truly makes its point without missing a beat. You can drive to this music (blasted up high of course), you can relax to this music (close your eyes and dream), or you can dance to it, whichever you'd prefer. With chords as luscious and beautiful as these, you'd think you were flying. Think of airy techno sounds, arpeggios and quick bass hits. Not to mention the soaring vocals. Jewel takes everything she has to offer and throws it at you with enthusiasm.

If you liked this remix single, I'd highly recommend either the 'Serve The Ego' single (it's not as strong as 'Intuition' but still has much to offer), Jewels new album '0304' (packed full of her best music so far), or TATUs single 'All The Things She Said' (particularly the one with the four remixes on it, it has some of the most enjoyable remixes of the day on it).
