- Love this DVD!

I have been a jewel fan from the beginning but still haven't been able to make any of her live shows. After watching this DVD, it makes me even more motivated to see her live. I love the acoustic performance and I think this is where Jewel really shines. It beats listening to her CDs hands down. She has such a great singing voice, she doesn't need all the background noise. Just her singing playing her guitar is what separates her from so many artists. Both DVD's were good but I enjoyed the Rialto Theater performance more, and when she sang Violet Eyes, it brought me to tears. That is the first time I have ever heard that song. I'm glad I bought this DVD and it will be one I plan to listen to regularly.

- A Jewel of a dvd

Did not receive the next day like I paid for but was refunded the money with no hassle. DVD is very good and it covers the majority of her hits and alot of others from past to present. Very pleased.

- A precious Jewel!

Beautifully filmed and fantastic sounding 2 disc set from 2 shows. Not as "hard-edged" as her other fantastic live performance on "Live at Humphrey's by the Bay" and a bit more "polished". Her acoustic performances shine and she rocks with a band backing her up, but doesn't need that to show her talent. I would have preferred she skip the orchestra on the last few songs during the Rialto show and agree not many singers can pull this off. My rating is 4.5 stars taking 0.5 off for the use of that orchestra...not that they aren't very talented, but it just doesn't fit her style well. Jewel is the total package and best when she let's her attitude rock...

- Amazing Performer but Bag The Orchestra

I am a advid Jewel fan who orginally watched and DVR'd Disc 2 (Live at the Rialto Thearter) from PBS sometime ago (I still bought this double disc set). The video reproduction and more importantly the surround sound reproduction is fantastic on these DVD's. Koch Vision, very well done indeed! The performances are amazing but the Orchestra on the Rialto Concert should have stayed home. To many great performers do this and it rarely works. This performance is no exception. Of all performers, Jewel does not to rely on this trickery. Her acoustic performances on both of these discs are incredible. This is were she excels. In the middle of DVD 1 (Dallas, Texas) she is joined with her band. Very good but she does oversing in some parts. The aformentioned Rialto Concert acoustic performance is exceptional. I've seen her acoustically many times and this DVD is as good as being there especially if you plan on watching this in surround. This would have been a 5 star rating if she just bagged the Orchestra!

- Best Jewel album

Her concert performance beats all her CDs hands down.

Very talented and beautiful singer.
