Most songs here are very, very solid. Such as the title track, "Right Where You Want Me". It has an R&B type of vibe going on. I'm not sure it was the right song to be the lead single though; it just doesn't really represent what the album is ON A WHOLE. Many ballads, which are his trademark, can be found; "Right Back In The Water", "Tell Her", and "Invincible".
Another strong song, IMO, and probably my favorite, is "Anybody". It's a pop-rock outing, that is explaining how down he was for some chick. "I was the one who gave up everything, for her. When no one would listen, I heard every word. Oh, ho. It took me so long to see that maybe I am...better off alo-o-o-o-one. Yeah, eah, eah..." I totally disagree with another review that said it's uninspiring and boring. I found it to be quite the opposite and I'm happy about that.
"Invincible" is a pretty decent song although it's not the type that I'd want on my MP3 player. And "Daddy's Little Girl" was a song that I didn't like at first but now that I have listened to the CD again, (it's been a while) I love it! Very assertive and in-your-face. Probably describes him well. He helped write it, after all.
"Tell Her" is a a slowed-down goodie, and "Feelin' You" is my s*** now! I love how its so soft, and true. Then the guitars get going, and it picks up a bit. It's mid-tempo, soft, sweet and the lyrics linger. I think it's in the top 3 songs on the now-fantastic album! Before, I thought it was OK, but most of the songs were hit or miss. NOW, there is NO song I hate. I could play this front to back, then back to front and complaints would be minor.
