- OFF THE HOOK!!!
I'm in love with Jesse and his music is great. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this CD. I didn't expect to love it as much as I do. I would recommend this CD to any and everyone.

- JMAC IS RECHARGED
Jesse McCartney's "Departure" was great before, but now it's even better!
"Departure:Recharged" has 4 new tracks that really show Jesse has matured over the last year. A MUST HAVE ALBUM!
My rating:
Departure:Recharged - 5/5
Body Language - 5/5
Crash & Burn - 4/5
In My Veins - 5/5 (my favorite track)
Oxygen - 5/5
- Great album - listen to it all the time
I love this album! There are a few tracks that I didn't like at first, but now I at least like if not absolutely love every song on this album. Crash and Burn, Body Language, How Do You Sleep and Leavin' are my favorites.
Listen to the samples and you get a pretty good idea of the songs, and you'll probably like them even more after you listen to them completely. I personally like to clean house to this - but then I have to stop and dance sometimes, too.
- Not what I expected!!!!!
I always thought Jesse McCartney was a good pop singer, and enjoyed his music. I listen to all types of music from classical to heavy metal but pop and r&b are my favorite. Listening to this CD was the best of both genres which for me was a real treat!!! My favorite song is "In My Veins".Very sexy!!!!Check it out if you haven't already!!!
- Jesse McCartney's Off The Wall
Jesse McCartney has skillfully crafted good top 40 pop songs over the past five years, but this is the first album of his where every song is excellent and nearly every track could conceivably be released as a single. It is far and away his best effort to date. We see the hip-hop vibe enter McCartney's music more prominently than ever before, and he does so believably and not in an exaggerated fashion. We get to see more of his personality come through in the music. The polish of pop, laid-back coolness of hip-hop, and depth of r&b are all blended together. If you already liked Jesse McCartney or artists such as Justin Timberlake or Chris Brown (their music) then this album is highly recommended.
On Departure Jesse seems influenced by the likes of Prince and Michael Jackson, thus the earlier reference in this review's title. I don't mean to say that this album is equal in quality to Michael Jackson's 1979 hit record, Off The Wall. But rather, this is the album where Jesse McCartney truly begins to define himself as an artist, and despite its popularity it is still somewhat underrated. Hopefully Jesse McCartney can follow this album up with a "Thriller" next time around, and gain the full recognition he deserves. But regardless this is a great album that is well worth a listen.
