Disco de Janet Jackson: “Live in Hawaii”

Totally unfamiliar with Ms. Jackson and those who perform in similar style, I still found this concert highly entertaining. True, I heard none of the lyrics to what I assumed were songs, the audience presumably having learned them from other sources before the concert. The sets were striking as was the dancing. All performers were able and made a good impression. Ms. Jackson was the star and performed as one. One marked difference from short form video, to be noted in opera live performance as well, is the constant perspiration which cannot be masked. Whether this will detract from your pleasure is a matter of taste. All in all, I can recommend this to all save those who might find the overt sexuality disturbing.

I bought this DVD with the full belief that it would play in my DVD's region; it did not! I don't remember reading in the product description that it wouldn't so,I feel cheated! I would have appreciated it if the seller would have indicated that they make DVDs for use outside of the US, its territories and Canada.

I have always loved Janet Jackson's music not because she is part of a famous family but because she is her own person and is not afraid to express herself. She's a beautiful woman with an abundant amount of talent.

I love the entertainment from the Jackson family. Of course Michael is my favorite, Janet is second. It is a very good video, I take it every time I go out of town and show it, everyone loves it.

Janet Jackson is one of Americas greatest artist there is. No other American musical female artist has open door as she has... This video is proof she is a great talent it is enjoyable and exciting... great dance moves, singing, stage show, costumes etc... It's a great video...I can't say enough I have love Janet for a very long time. I am her age and I feel like I grew up with her. I have been to many of her concerts watch her movies etc... At times I feel like I have grown up with her. If you to enjoy a great concert this in the VIDEO you want to own... You will LUV it.....
