Disco de Helena Paparizou: “My Number One”

This cd is great. With a mix of greek and english pop/techno -- it's a total winner. It'll keep you grooving wherever you listen to it. It seriously makes me want to dance everytime I listen to it. Obscure in the US, but very popular in europ, she is actually the winner of the 2005 Eurovision contest with her hit "My Number One." If you like exotic, fresh danceable pop music with deep beats, this album is a must have.

Great set of pick-you-up euro techno-pop songs...Were great successes in continental Europe in 2005. Great material for a dance party...not much lyrical depth here, but pleasant music and definitely danceable!

As for the portuguese fellow who thought the portuguese song should have won the Eurovision contest and that other Eurovision songs were better than this album...Do you watch shows like the Eurovision and expect great music out of them?...Its a shallow show of dance-poppy songs like you'll find on this album, but fun to dance to...spare us the review...we're not talking the Stones here!!!!

This is a typical Eurovision song from Greece. This was the big winner, but in my opinion there were songs greater than this (for example the portuguese entrance "Amar" from 2B or The Netherlands song.
