Being a Gorillaz fan and seeing the list list of unknown B-sides, this was a must buy CD. Don't spend 40 dollars go th a different seller and spend 20 or so. Also if you really want the track for a even lower price goto the G-shop from the offical website site and get most of the tracks there just for 99 cents each but Murdoc is God is not there.
Track 1 : Feel Good Inc. (singal verison) 3/5
Becoming a rather popular song because of being played on ipod, this song does get old after a while sadly. Overall great song to dance to, although its slightly different from the album.
Track 2: Spitting Out The Demons (B-side) 4/5
A long song clocking in at 5:10,its trance of dark music with Reggae beats playing is just something to kick back and enjoy listing too. The bass and giutar are really played nicely by Murdoc and Noodle.
Track 3: Bill Murray (B-side) 3/5
A heavy bass beat and a light drum beat this song is a great overall because of 2-D talent vocal skills. Danger Mouse is one great disc jocky giving Gorillaz a big way to be different and unique and this song is just another way to prove it.
Track 4: Murdoc Is God (B-side) 5/5
A guitar being played loyndly as heck to say Murod is great and his our king. The song is wicked good this song is right up there with blurs most popular song "song 2" or aka "woo-hoo" should of been on the record.
Video 1: Feel Good Inc. 4/5
The video is always nice to see because of this song has about 3 different lil beats in it and how its play is that, you have rap part, 2-D's emo, and noodle adding a peaceful moment between it all. The video on the CD is not the DVD quality but its great to watch full screen on the Computer.
Note: Works in all CD and DVD players
And this is Trouty Saying where Del?
Gorillaz will always be one of my favorite bands. Every song on this CD is extremely awesome/cool/fun/different/interesting/artistic/unique. Their style is so laid back and free that you can't help loving it. I enjoy it because it's actually ARTISTIC and CREATIVE. A ton of music groups out right now are same old, same old and though they may sound good, it's still fairly boring when compared with Gorillaz. I absolutely love the art by Jamie Hewlett I think? Same guy who helped do Tank Girl!!! It fits the music so well. Lastly, the themes in these songs are actually quite serious (one song is titled Kids With Guns and is also one of my favs) there's also a kind of story/song in the end that really makes you think.
Anywho...the whole concept of Gorillaz is any artist's wet dream. The music and art combined is so unique and fun...I can't imagine anyone not loving this CD.
p.s. the art in the CD cover is fantastic. There's actually one picture of the gorillaz in the "HELP!" pose that The Beatles originally did and it's really quite adorable. Also, there's one where it has a sort of "Where's Waldo" theme...
