Geri Halliwell Album: “Ride It [US CD]”

Holy S***!!!! She is so amazing! She knows what kind of music people like. After a 3 year break, she came back with an amazing song that only didn't reach #1 (I think it reached #4 or 5, can't remember) because she dared to take on 3 American Idol songs and someone else who I can't remember. Great way to debut her 3rd album. This song is so fun and awesome. Her new CD "Passion" is going to be the best yest because I recently heard her second single from "Passion" which is called "Desire" and it isn't better than "Ride It" but it still is an amzing song. I can't wait for her new album!!!

Geri Halliwell's first single off of her third album Passion was very disco-esque. The song brought to mind the great disco hits of the 1970s and had a very nostalgic feeling to it. That being said it was a great dance track that would been an even bigger hit in say the 1970s than the 2000s. Another thing is that this song would have fit in better on Schizophonic than Passion. But over all though its still a great track.

Geri Halliwell has delivered a sexy, astounding song when she accomplished "Ride It." The song is very dancy and you just want to get up and move if you hear it!

Despite the wonderfulness of the song, I could have used a remix or a b-side. No, "It's Raining Men" doesn't count. Even though it's a great song. I had enough of it from Bridget Jone's Diary, the single, and the album it came off of. Release a second CD please, Geri. Remixes and B-sides, and a video, Geri. Thanks.

"Ride It" is a very fun, europop piece. It's not as catchy as Kylie's "Spinning Around" (which is Kylie's greatest song, in my opinion), but it gets you moving and singing along. Geri does a passable job with the disco classic "it's Raining Men", but it's no threat to the original.
