- Odds & Gods
Now I'm not a big blues fan, but there's something really accessible about Green's work. As you've probably read in previous reviews, this is Fleetwood Mac's version of The Beach Boys "20/20", that is, it's full of singles & b-sides released by the record company, to cash in On Fleetwood's success. But they, by accident released a really strong album.
So if you like your blues in small doses, then this is defiantly one to try on for size.

- The Best of VERY Early Fleetwood Mac
"Pious Bird" is a sampler of sorts of very early Peter Green-era Fleetwood Mac (i.e. prior to the Green/Mac classic "Then Play On"). It does include the original "Black Magic Woman," along with some foreshadowing of Peter Green's greatness on "Looking for Somebody" and "Albatross." Otherwise, it's fairly unexceptional, competent 60's British blues - very similar to John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, but with a bit more emphasis on guitars.
All in all, good British blues, but not essential.

- FM w/ Peter Green ROCKS
This is definitely one of my fav Fleetwood Mac stadio albums. If ya are a FM after Peter left the band such as Rumor etc, you might not like this bluesy album. However, if ya are a blues fan and/or Peter Green fans, this is a HUGE must!
