Featuring one of the best songs from the Finn Brothers new release "Everyone Is Here", this CD single positively sparkles with killer harmonies, a left hook in the form of Neil's guitar playing and a melody as rich as anything either has written. The two additional tracks are worthwhile as well but the gem is "Dirty Creature" performed live. I heard this on the radio when the duo came through town (sadly missed the show thought due to an illness)and didn't think it would be released.
The duo give a marvelous performance of "Dirty Creature" reinventing the classic Split Enz track they performed on together more than twenty years ago. My only complaint is that this version doesn't feature the DVD video as part of the package (although that is available elsewhere). I'm hoping that the marvelous show performed in San Francisco the day after Valentine's Day this year will show up on DVD as well (or, at the very least, as a CD).
Neil and Tim one complaint--don't take another decade to make another album together!
