- Not his best, but
if you ever had any appreciation for any other Falco albums, this is a definite must-have for a number of reasons. First, obviously, sadly, Falco will no longer be making any more music (at least in this life), so any Falco fan needs to have his last will + testament, if you will. Second, the Falco fan will be happy to know that he left us a very powerful cd, not his best mind you, but a very good one nevertheless. In "Out of the Dark," one can feel Falco looking deep within himself. There is also the playful "Shake," which almost makes you feel as if you're back in the good ol' 80's. I feel that Falco was beating a dead horse with "Der Kommissar 2000," (how many versions of this song do we need?) but all things considered I guess it's nice to have one more version of it. "Egoist" and "No time for Revolution" are both very good songs. The others are sort of on the weak side (especially "Cyberlove" with its very cheap-sounding background). Good bye Falco...we miss you.
- Between light and dark
This is Falco's last album and that's why I bought it. It's not a bad album, not a sublime one either. My feeling is it's too much ecclectic for that. Falco sits in between his eighties grandeur with songs as 'Shake' and 'Hit Me' (this is Falco at his best imo) and a kind of techno based pop songs like 'Mutter' and der 'Kommissar 2000'. He wants to vision the millennium but comes over old-fashioned certainly in a song as 'Cyberlove'. His ballads or real songs are the better moments on this disc ('Out of the dark', 'Egoist'). 'Naked' his worst. I find it too heterogeneous to be a strong album but Falco always has his moments that makes it worth to buy his records.
- super-charged/funky-chic!!!
Falco displays an incredible amount of charisma, detail and style in this driving, upbeat, instrument packed album which has received far too little focus perhaps due to the European flair that is not always well received within the United States!! Nonetheless, those who love good music, and have an interest in life, culture, dance, and the German language (nice coloring to the beats!!!) will absolutely ADORE(!!!) this rendering by Austria's beloved Falco!!!!!!

- A really good disc, nearly perfect...nearly
A disc which contains some great songs like Ootd or Revolution, but also one or two weaker songs (cyberlove), but all in all a really good one...something very special four a country like austria, a land where you get to the top fast and fall down even faster
