- Definitely his best album.
Eros Ramazzotti is the best-selling italian singer. During his career he had made several hits and had worked with singers like Tina Turner, Cher and Andrea Bocelli.
This cd conteins his biggest hits by 1997 when it was released.
Some of the biggest hits on this album are: "Terra promessa", "Adesso tu", "Ma che bello questo amore", Musica e" and "Piu bella cosa".
For this production Eros re-recorded his hits. "Musica e" was this time recorded next to Andrea Bocelli and "Cose della vita" with Tina Turner. The song is amazing. They rock together.
There's also a new song in this album that it's very good. I'm talking about "Quanto amore sei" (How much love you are).
The only advice I'm gonna give about this album is not to buy the Spanish version. The Italian is much better, even though Eros sings good in Spanish.

- A great overview of Eros' best through 1997. Flows perfectly
Although the Amazon.com review does a pretty good job of giving a broad overview of this release, I'll add my two cents to try and complement it. To me Eros was an acquired taste and sometimes I find that singers who at first don't necessarily call my name, wind up being among my favorites. Eros is certainly one of them.
I first heard heard of Eros when a friend of mine played the oh so cool "Cosas De La Vida," a perfect duet with Tina Turner. Not only do these two sound like they were made to sing together, but the arrangement is simply incredible. That song is so catchy on the strength of that single I decided to give this release a shot. Although I liked it the first time I heard it, I slowly began to love it as I began to appreciate the subtleties in Eros' voice. Although his nasal delivery is certainly instantly recognizable, he's got a great range and through this collection, particularly in "Memories" that he has an arsenal of melodic tools at his disposal.
Although Eros has not enjoyed much success in the US, he's a major star around the world. I hope that more people catch on to him as he is truly talented and his unique voice and ability to rock out and sings the sweetest songs makes him the real deal. It's worth noting that Eros sings in Spanish and Italian. Since I speak Spanish, I went for that version but if you speak Italian (or don't know Spanish) go for the Italian version it sounds even better. Although it's not explicit, this release is a greatest hits collection through 1997, so it really picks the nuggets from his releases through that year.
Not to take anything away from some of my Latin pop favorites like Luis Miguel, Alex Ubago, and David Bisbal just to name a few, Eros' voice really makes him stand out as soon as you hear them, whereas some of the most successful acts wind up sounding a little too similar to one another. I can't recommend this release enough and it easily earns its 5-stars. If you like Eros, you may want to give an artist named Nek a shot as he is another Italian singer who I really like. Like Eros, Nek sings in Spanish and Italian. I may have to learn Italian to really appreciate these guys as the words really do flow even better in their native tongues. Thanks for taking the time to read my review.

- Eros is definetly the BEST!
I love Eros' music, and this is one out of my two favorite CD's (the other is also his :o). His words are both beautiful and inspirational, and his voice is absolutely sexy!

- Bravissimo!
The first time I experienced the listening sensation of this CD in its entirety, was at high speed in an Italian sports coupe on the Italian autostrada. Que l'esperienza! All of my Italian friends love his music. Eros, with his exhilarating music, will have you feeling like you're Italian as fast as an Italian sports coupe can get from 0km to 180km! Tina's accompaniment was extraordinare! Open yourself up to some Italian culture, and add this to your 'raccolta'.

- EROS best album !!!
EROS wow...best album ever!!! i have all of them, really, even some in spanish and this is definitely the best ever although he has some great singles in the other cds, including Tutte Storie.
I recommend this cd to anyone, if you love the italian language and are a pop listener, could not ask for me. Best male italian pop singer with so much style. My best CD, no doubt about it.
