- I think it's one of his better ones
I think I'm contradicting another reviewer here, but this album was the first Eros album I had heard. I picked it up in Germany c. 1990 simply because he was high on the billboard charts -- I'd never heard his music before. I took a chance.
For me, this album hooked me. I would suggest it to anyone who has an interest in "other-language" music.

- I can do with out his other albums but not this one
Wow I was dating an Italian who would play this and I was hooked. I can do with other his other albums but not this one. Every song is passionately soulful & like a fantacy of which I can play a movie in my head of what for instance he or someone might have went threw similar to what he is singing when I hear it over and over again, its great, one day it will be me. I don't understand most of the words only those that sound like spanish, but I get the point and remember what my Italian friend explained to me. This album can stir up some nice thoughts in you too. - Eros - The No. 1 Singer
Hi,
If you are a romantic person with sensitive soul, you will find this CD as all other EROS cd's, the best wonderful music of all.
it is a cure for all bad feelings, make you happy and brings you joy and calm.
I recommend it with all my heart !!
- A Masterpiece
I adore Eros as a composer and as a lyrisist. This album is probably the most amazing of all his early albums both in this version in Italian and the version of this same album in Castillano; especially with the mass synthiziser settings of the orchestrations, which remind me of Phil Spector in a variety of places. His Italian versions of Adesso Tu and Una Storia Importante on this album {of which he did many versions of these two songs} are my favorates alongside the Italian version of Canzone Lontane, which is a beautiful throw back to the old songs of the 1950s in Italy such as Volare. I also adore the bittersweet Dolce Barbara and passionate Taxi Story plus the beautiful duet of Amarti E L'Immenso Per Me. Customer review - March 10, 1999

- A turning point in eros' music
This album is great for true eros fans, but if it was the first or only album i had listened to, i would not be so crazy about him. There are too many repetitive bars of music and having Patsy Kensit, an american singer, join eros in La Luce Buona delle stelle was not very appealing; i always fast forward the song... I must say that most of the songs are well-written and have true meaning in relation to my life. |
